What a night - we arrived in New York on the friday at 3:00pm. Later that night we went to watch the Lion King. Wow, what a show. Lovely theatre, very clean, modern, helpful staff. Clean restrooms. Not one complaint!

I have always loved the Lion King and wanted to see the Lion King on Broadway on previous visits but never had the chance. The show was absolutely fantastic and could not recommend it any more if I tried. My favourite performance I have ever seen and the theatre itself was amazing.

My family and I visited the Minskoff last month. We attended a matinee performance for The Lion King. The matinee is a great time for families with younger children. The theater had a nice ambiance, the staff were helpful, and we liked our seats. We sat in the first row (in the center) on the Mezzanine level. Our seats were... More

A very nice theater. We saw the Lion King here. The restrooms are large and clean. The room temperature was kept at a nice cool level to accommodate for the hundreds of people in the room.

We saw this play Saturday night here. The theater is large but once you are seated it doesn't feel that large. Upon reading previous reviews I have to say I'm happy we ended up in the very last row up top. We had plenty of legroom, so much we didn't need to stand when someone passed in front. Sight lines... This theater has very rude staff, behaving non-professionally. They seem they just hate their jobs and the management seems they don't care. I purchased tickets online and tried to verify the validity of my tickets, but the customer/sales representative was utterly rude and didn't want to provide me simple information if I can go pickup the tickets and if they... Went to see the Lion King here last weekend. This really is a world-class venue. Large, but feels very intimate. An excellent touch - the two drummers are set into the walls high up lest and front of stage, so they really make the theatre rock!

We saw the Lion King here. Nice theater, with lots of good seating. The space between rows is pretty cramped, so if you're somewhat tall, you may have issues with the leg room. Other than that, awesome theater.

An absolutely stunning portrayal of the animated film. As a self proclaimed Disney fan, with The Lion King being one of my all time favorites, the Broadway production did not disappoint. From beginning to end the sets, costumes and characters kept us interested. Even though we knew the story, it kept our attention with all of the little details. I... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
