We saw this play Saturday night here. The theater is large but once you are seated it doesn't feel that large. Upon reading previous reviews I have to say I'm happy we ended up in the very last row up top. We had plenty of legroom, so much we didn't need to stand when someone passed in front. Sight lines... This theater has very rude staff, behaving non-professionally. They seem they just hate their jobs and the management seems they don't care. I purchased tickets online and tried to verify the validity of my tickets, but the customer/sales representative was utterly rude and didn't want to provide me simple information if I can go pickup the tickets and if they... Went to see the Lion King here last weekend. This really is a world-class venue. Large, but feels very intimate. An excellent touch - the two drummers are set into the walls high up lest and front of stage, so they really make the theatre rock!

We saw the Lion King here. Nice theater, with lots of good seating. The space between rows is pretty cramped, so if you're somewhat tall, you may have issues with the leg room. Other than that, awesome theater.

An absolutely stunning portrayal of the animated film. As a self proclaimed Disney fan, with The Lion King being one of my all time favorites, the Broadway production did not disappoint. From beginning to end the sets, costumes and characters kept us interested. Even though we knew the story, it kept our attention with all of the little details. I... More

But never want to see any show again in new york. A guy sat next to me was huge and his leg occupied half of my seat. And he was keep filming the show with his laptop. Old lady kept on sneezing on back of my neck not even bothered to cover her mouth. Splashing all over back of my... More

We just saw The Lion King! What a amazing show! This theatre is big, beautiful and perfect for such a large production. The show was amazing with all of the costume changes. The actors really love what they do and it shows in their performance. A must see production.

We saw The Lion King for the matinee show on a Sunday afternoon. It did not take long to get inside and find our seats. We sat in orchestra center, row S, seats 129 and 130, which is on the end. We had a great view of the stage and of the performers when they came down the aisles. There... More

This theatre was a great place to take in a show. I may have preferred, in hindsight, to have seen a different show than The Lion King (though it's hard to go wrong with The Lion King), but it was a beautiful theatre with sufficient seating and nice-sized stage. I was there with a large group, and all of us... More

This review is of the theater venue not the show: We went to see The Lion King during a Wed. matinee. I was a little worried that my seats would be horrible, because (due to cost) the seats for I bought mezzanine seats in row E, very close to the back of the theater. I was surprised that the seats... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
