We just saw The Lion King! What a amazing show! This theatre is big, beautiful and perfect for such a large production. The show was amazing with all of the costume changes. The actors really love what they do and it shows in their performance. A must see production.

We saw The Lion King for the matinee show on a Sunday afternoon. It did not take long to get inside and find our seats. We sat in orchestra center, row S, seats 129 and 130, which is on the end. We had a great view of the stage and of the performers when they came down the aisles. There... More

This theatre was a great place to take in a show. I may have preferred, in hindsight, to have seen a different show than The Lion King (though it's hard to go wrong with The Lion King), but it was a beautiful theatre with sufficient seating and nice-sized stage. I was there with a large group, and all of us... More

This review is of the theater venue not the show: We went to see The Lion King during a Wed. matinee. I was a little worried that my seats would be horrible, because (due to cost) the seats for I bought mezzanine seats in row E, very close to the back of the theater. I was surprised that the seats... Went to see the Lion King on Valentines Day. All staff was very helpful and kind. Greeted with smiling faces from beginning to end. I even had a few questions and called a few days earlier and the rep was very helpful and cheerful. Would recommend to anyone.

Tickets are overly expensive for a show at 3pm on a Sunday. The matinee should be cheaper. Bag checkers are strict with outside food and drinks so just don't try. Finding our seats which were ZZ were not a problem. This row was great. We were on the end of the row so we didn't feel cramped, close to exit,... More

During our stay in NYC we came here to watch The Lion King. Staff were sometimes a bit rude, especially security before the show. Seats were quite crammed in to but guess this is the norm with most theatres! The show itself was spectacular and we enjoyed it very much! Can't comment on food/drinks/toilets as we never used them whilst... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
