My partner and I travelled to NYC for the July 4th Weekend and our 14th Anniversary. We were so excited to have tickets for the 7/5/14 evening show. Arrived and was shown our seats, we noticed that the theater's seating was steep. This grade proved to be an issue when the couple were seated directly in front of us. The... More

Had the good fortune to see Alladin at the Amsterdam theater. The theater it self was well appointed and efficient, though bear in mind you might have to queue outside for a while during peak times. Leg room isnt plentiful either. However these are minor niggles as the atmosphere is terrific. The play itself was outstanding, stunning production values with... More

I had purchased tickets for a Saturday matinee show of Aladdin (lower left L1 & L3). I must say, the New Amsterdam, after its restoration is gorgeous. My suggestion is to arrive early and take some time to walk around the lobby, theater and basement area before the show begins. The play was terrific, however, I feel the need to... More

We booked tickets to Alladin because Lion King was sold out. Great show that had a lot of flash and color. As in the animated movie, the "Genie" stole the show. That guy had tons of energy. 15 yr old and 11 yr old both enjoyed it. Highly recommend...even from nosebleed seats.

I brought my 6 year old daughter to this show and she just loved it! There was an elevator but it is old and only holds about 15 people so is crowded most of the time. We did get balcony seats but they were very high in this venue so I recommend going to the mezzanine as the highest. The... More

We really enjoyed the show and the venue. I took my 21 year old daughter who loved the Disney Aladdin movie. We sat on the right rear orchestra (U2 and U4) and our seats were comfortable with plenty of legroom for 5'5" and 5'8" females (one slender, one definitely not). We also had good and mostly unobstructed views over the... More

We saw Aladdin here last weekend and were very happy with our seats and the theater in general. I am average size- probably slightly tall for a woman (5'7") and weigh 140 lbs and these seats were not too small for me, nor did my knees touch the seats in front of me. I was perfectly comfortable. We sat in... More

We sat in the mezzanine and my husbands knees were smack against the seat in front of him. My husband is average size. The people next to us were very large and they had a really uncomfortable 3 hours! The decoration of the theatre is terrific. Nice to hace an elevator!
