Must see!

I saw Aladdin there and it was awesome! The theatre is beautiful, and the show is amazing. It was my favorite thing we did during our trip to NYC.

Took my two teenage grandchildren to Aladdin. Seats were great, show is terrific with wonderfully ebullient performances from all the lead players. Thank goodness for genies and this warm and friendly cast. And Disney! Staff was cordial and helpful. I would attend again.

We actually went to the New Amsterdam Theater as part of a tour group, not to see a show. The theater itself is very pretty and we were able to take pictures in some areas. Our guide was one of the Disney Theater staff who was very knowledgeable about the history of the theater. During the tour we were shown... More

The theater was crowded outside for a 2pm show but we got in about a half hr before it started. Very ornate and beautiful inside but a few squeaky chairs. The stage and curtain were quite beautiful as well as the ornate theater boxes on the right and left. The performance was spectacular! Loved every moment!

very nice theater. clean. Seats provided enough leg room for our family but nobody was over 5'6". We were in mezzanine level towards way in the back and over to the right and still had no trouble seeing stage.

SEE MY PHOTOS FOR 3 DIFF VIEWS OF THE MEZZANINE AREA All I wanted when I came on to yelp was info on seating and locations, so that is what I am giving you. I wanted to save some money, so I bought tickets in the mezzanine area. I could have gone cheaper and sat in the balcony but all... More

One of the oldest theaters on Broadway. Now leased/owned by Disney, it is a step back in time and a wonderful step it is! The seating is a little cramped, but that is par for the course in these old theaters, but no seat is a bad seat in this venue, however, I recommend trying to sit in the middle... More

The Aladdin adventure was superb. The theatre has a lot of character and is well done. The seating is comfortable and offers a good view to the full stage. Worth the visit and the experience.

A lovely and ambitious renovation with a great show to boot. Comfortable seating, wide aisles and an easy in and out. Note that Orchestra Left and Right seating is best from row G + as the first several rows are on a hard angle to the stage.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
