WOW! WOW! WOW! I as an avid music lover thoroughly enjoyed this place!! I stayed from 8pm until the lights came on I loved it so much!! The band/talent here was superb! Celebrity pop up performances and the food and drinks were all great!! I will be back for sure every time I come to NY!!

I love the Village Underground so much that I decided to pick up some waitressing shifts there (as a side job). It is so great that I have to say if you visit NYC and you do not stop by the Underground for live music you made a big big mistake. The band is awesome (Wednesday through Friday). Also open... My wife and I went to Village Underground with another couple while vacationing in New York City. Previously we would go to Comedy Cellar, but it is my understanding this is an extension of the Comedy Cellar. The facility is much larger and easier to navigate than the Comedy Cellar's old facility. We were in the second row, so we... More

Sunday night with Ron & friends is great. Just make sure you make a reservation or you'll be standing for hours until someone leaves their table. The chicken wings weren't great though but the show was amazing!

This venue feels like what a comedy club should be- small, dark and intimate. We saw a great show with multiple different performers and the mc was great. Reasonably priced. The service was good. Snacks and drinks were good too. We would definitely come back here.

What a great way to end our week in NYC! I knew I wanted to listen to a live band before I left and trawled through Timeout for some good recommendations. We watched the comedy show right before and just stayed on as they flipped the stage to set up for the band. About two songs in, the band did... More

Went last night and and was amazed by a guy named Dana Leonardi who sat in with the band for a couple songs. What an incredible guitarist.
