Whenever i'm in NYC i always have to make a pilgrimage to The Ginger Man, the problem is that they stock so many beers there are too many to choose from! Plenty of space and good service and did i mention the vast selection of beers!

Stylish, spacious bar with a relax atmosphere. And best of all: big selection in special beers from all over the world. Great bartenders.

Found this gem of a bar around the corner from our hotel. Amazing selection of beer, I tried the Salt Dog Blue Paw, a blueberry wheat beer, which did taste of blueberries and I really enjoyed it. My mum had a pint of Guinness, she's Irish and said it was the best pint she'd tasted outside of Dublin!

We arrived around 8 or 9 on a Friday night and it was understandably busy. We found a couch in the "lounge" area which was notable quieter than the main bar at first and pretty comfortable. The lounge didn’t have as much charm/character as the main room but we appreciated the lower volume - at least until the quiet group... More

Good bar with good atmosphere, busy and got a table with very comfy chairs in top room away from bar, good assortment of beers and we had a assortment of sandwiches with the pulled pork being the best. Highly recommend for casual/ drink

Went there with my wife for a drink and a light bite. Had a cheese and meat platter to share. Good aelection of beera and orher drinks. It was reasonably busy for a wednesday night. The setup inside was nice and there is a cosy sofa area. The thing that let the place down was service. The long-haired guy serving... More

We had originally planned to go to the Statue of Liberty, but it was so cold that we decided on an "indoors" day, and would visit the Ginger Man instead at lunchtime. It was really quiet (Wednesday 12pm) and we had several beers, all of which were delicious apart from the Yeti special which I didn't like at all. The... More

We visited twice at lunch time because the large spacious, high ceilinged pub has plenty of room for comfortable seating by the walls as well as stools at the very long bar. The staff are friendly and helpful in selecting beers from the vast selection and for some reason the place is less crowded and more pleasant than other neighborhood... More

This is an absolutely superlative place. The choice of beer is vast, and the ambiance is just perfect. I've heard weekends are very busy though. I was there on a Monday, and it was just cool.

The choice of beer here is excellent and it is all really good. Try the Gingerman beer I've you dare. I also had their club sandwich (panini) with potato salad & it was very good. I am starting to prefer it to the Pony Bar,
