The atmosphere and the groups are great. But the service and the management is an heartbreak history. Very unprofessional and bad behaviour. Many otherjazzbars in town. Do not loose your time and money here.

Swing 46 is one of the best options for a memorable dinner on REstaurant Row -W 46th St. They have a very nice and reasonable price fixed menu with a variety of options. There is live music to boot along with a Happy Hour. I stopped by before the theater and was able to enjoy some music along with dinner... More

We had a great time at the club. Saturday nights usually fill up with folks who are dining there as well. We did not and were relegated to the bar for a while. Mike worked to get us a table, though we were told to get that table we had to make a two drink minimum each. No problem. We... More

great band, dancing is a must. so much fun, everyone is in a holiday mood. Dinner was pretty good and not overpriced. Be sure to wear funky dance clothing. This is NY, so no sloppy jeans.

Great New York Jazz. Go on the nights Professor Cunningham and his Old School are appearing for a real treat. The food was nice and service was good.

We went on a Thursday evening, just for the dancing. We paid the $15 cover and to sit in the room with the stage and dance floor there is a 2 drink minimum plus tips. I got the drinks from the bar but i think we are supposed to get the drinks from the waiter. Anyway the band was great,... More

Our group of 12 visited Swing 46 during our recent NY trip. We went on a Thursday night and Christie and the staff took great care of us! We all enjoyed the dance lesson, which introduced us to swing dancing. It was even more cool to watch the older individuals move and glide across the floor! The live band that... More

We went there specifically for the dancing. We paid the cover and sat near the dance floor which meant a two drink minimum per person. 4 sodas (we don't drink alcohol) cost $20. The dance floor was way too small and crowded - and it was a Monday night. I cannot imagine what a Friday or Saturday would be like.... More

Great night and filled up really quickly. The room for dancing was in front of stage where band was playing. We listened to Ron sunshine and his orchestra brilliant. Seemed to be loads of regulars who danced together great to watch. We ate and had delicious meal salmon with beet risotto and steaks. We left late and was still going... More

Great live music, great band, go there on Tuesday evening they have free dancing lessons, plenty of couples that are absolutely amazing. You can just come there and have food, a glass of wine and enjoy the music. No need to be a dancer !
