This was terrible!!! It started with a rat act....followed by numerous horses knocked up and biting each others bottoms...with side acts that lost my nieces attention (she enjoyed running down the ramp and jumping in puddles then the show!) and ended with an elderly couple in a high wire wearing a thong and fish nets!!! This was not a circus!!!... More

With only one review I can only assume the last poster is a fake. We went in November during marathon weekend and our four year old son absolutely loved the show. I suppose it's down to personal preference which acts you enjoy, but the beauty of a show like this is that there's something for everyone. I thought the juggler... More

I took my niece and nephew both under five on the second to last day of the circus. The acts were very boring for both adults and kids. My niece wanted to leave within the first 15 minutes. We thought it might get better but it did not. Finally after 30 minutes we decided it was a waste of time.... More

This is the circus in a more intimate setting. You are close to the performers and there is some audience participation in the show. The circus is comprised of many different performances and they move quickly from one act to the next keeping up the action and excitement from jugglers to high wire to clown.

We took the little kids (5 and 3 years old) out for New year's Eve. Nuts? Maybe, but we found a perfect celebration for everyone. The Big Apple Circus is just fun for all ages, but if you are little, you are right there - right under all the action. Your eyes cannot possibly get any bigger. And, if you... More

No bad seats, friendly, engaging performers make for a great family circus trip. Good for little ones, as the single ring does not overwhelm. Lacks some of the pomp and spectacle of the bigger shows, but the chance to be up close makes up for it.

I was surprised how good this "little" circus was! It has 2 high wire acts, dogs and horses, a great clown and much more. General admission tickets can be $25.00 with the advert from their website.

Went with a group of 5 twenty-somethings. We were a bit worried that it would be geared towards children, which it was actually, but we thoroughly enjoyed it too! Highlight was the tiny pony and the tiny dogs. A cheap night out! Hot tip: if you book online you have to pay a ($8?) fee per ticket - you can... More

This circus is totally fun for the whole family. I saw it because I was in NYC and had nothing to do last Thursday morning and the ticket was cheap. I'd see it every year since it is different each year. It is not as spectacular as Cirque du Soleil or Ringling Bros but totally worth it.
