We attended the one in Lincoln Center. My 6 y.o. had never been to the circus before, and I wanted to attend one that wouldn't be overwhelming or scary. This circus was perfect. Plenty of acts, animals seem happy. We sat in the 3rd row, close to the center aisle. If budget is an issue, I think sitting farther back... More

animal friendly circus good for kids and adults. I still have no idea how they did a lot of what they did. Youngest in group was 6, oldest 76 with teenages and everyone loved it.

We were in Boston for the weekend and decided to check this out. Online ticket purchasing (with discount code!) was painless. They have a stroller check in the tent and even a makeshift area for diaper change (didn't go in but it was good to know that it was available). We sat at the second row from the ring but... More

I just finished a performance of the big apple circus with my children, and they all loved it from the 12-year-old down to the one and a half year-old! It was funny, totally family friendly and family appropriate, and incredibly reasonably priced. We saw a BOGO matinée on a Wed morning, and tickets were only $10 each! The whole tent... More

This is not your average circus. Big Apple Circus presents exceptional, rich, artistic performances more like a European circus than the commercially produced three ring circuses with their frenzied activity in multiple rings, large animals and little artistry. The Big Apple Circus performances are in an intimate single ring setting with a wonderful live band providing musical accompaniment that is... More

Been a long time since I was at a circus, and my 9 and 13 year olds never been too, so I decided to take them to this show in Bridgewater NJ. What an awesome experience. They run a nice small circus production, from the time you enter, the concession area, and then the arena area itself. Not a bad... More

The city with more thrills per square inch than anyplace else actually has a seasonal circus that is well worth the reasonable price of admission. It is under the Big Top and features an incredible array of performers from contortionists to trapeze artists. What a hoot. Lots of fun just watching the kids. It would be downright un-American if you... More

I went there on New Year's Eve, and the show was great, very touchy, and then we have a countdown and a party with champagne and costumes in the middle of the Circus Ring, with the performers. Awesome!

I am neither a circus, nor a parade person. Being a mother of 5 young children, however, I make sacrifices. I avoided the circus until now, but saw the event and the VIP option and figured, "may as well do it once, and do it right. then I am off the hook forever." Let me tell you something....we would do... More
