Stumbled across this bar, glad I did. We returned a few times during our stay as it's open until 2am , also serves dinner until late which is good for an after theatre option. Friendly staff, good Italian food, amazing atmosphere. Every celebrity who's anyone has been to this place, check the photos covering the walls. Loved it!

Having traveled all the way from Australia and going to this place because my wife loves sex in the city. We couldn't of been more disappointed. Lousy customer service. The places looks great and has a lot of history and a lot of famous people go there but it's seriously not worth the visit

This is a amazing and beautiful bar full of history and great bartenders and drinks!!! The bar itself runs the length of the establishment and is wonderful, you never see workmanship like it ever!!

Had an early dinner here a couple of days ago with two friends. Didn't need a reservation as there were tables available outside. The food was good - had the grilled salmon. The service was very good.

Didn't know the history of this place. Says being the oldest bar New York. Stopped by for a quick beer prior to our 39 steps show. Excellent.

After a week of bad food and service this was heaven. We did not have high hopes when we arrived but were soon soaking up the great atmosphere. The waitress was great, food was great. The veal with a masala sauce was excellent as was my daughters chicken parmagiana. It was busy but we weren't rushed and did not have... More

Very nice old pub with a unique atmosphere with friendly staff. Our party ordered burgers, which took a while to arrive despite the place was not packed. They were pretty average and definitely overpriced ($18.50 before taxes). I would suggest to visit the place for a drink and appetizers at the bar.
