Not the best but not the worst venue. I will say it's location, far off on the west side near Hello Kitchen but off the subway grid is a bit of a trek to get to. Also, it's a longer than wider venue which is kind of disappointing if you don't get close to the balcony rim or up front.... More

This is a great venue for getting u close and personal to your favourite band. There are three levels for the audience - a main flat level and two upper floors in a deep U shape. This means that it is easy to get a great view - especially if you go early and get a balcony rail position. However,... More

Saw Chet faker there and although the 3 leveled space was great (not too big) and it was easy to get a beer, we found it hard to hear him well. The place is also a sweat box even without dancing so be prepared!

If you're older like me and the days of standing in a super crowded room with people pushing and shoving are behind you, getting there early to get a seat at the balcony or paying for VIP is worth it. - Seating: 20 seats at balcony level & some in VIP, otherwise it's standing room only and it can be... Good atmosphere for a concert, nice tall building. Haven't run into any bad problems, slr cameras aren't allowed (like most places, sadly i forgot that day) and of course the bands take forever to set up but that's how all concerts are now, sadly. I had a good experience all in all.

What a great place! We bought general admission for the Erasure concert & had a great time! Only thing we were surprised at was at the end of the show they only let people out the one door when they could've opened a bunch of side doors to exit people out faster.

Venue is very..nice. Good sound creates great atmosphere. First row is really close to the stage so you can do amazing pictures&videos, catch pics, set lists and ect. (if you like) and it gives an opportunity to feel yourself as a part of show.

I was at the same New Years Eve Erasure concert as another reviewer (it was a great concert) and it was my first time at Terminal 5. I'd go again. It was a lot smaller than I imagined. The main floor is not big so, as other reviewers have mentioned, so if there's a group you really like and you... More

Went to see erasure at Terminal 5. I got there 3 hours early so I could be in front. I think your experience would differ depending on who you go see. I really thought the place was a intimate enough space. I had a blast. The entry is general admission so again it depends on how early you get there... More

Have seen several concerts here, and while the acoustics and overall experiences have differed, it's a consistently solid venue. They bring in good bands and the service/space is pretty good. Haven't been in the top tier yet -- I imagine that changes things. If you're on the fence, definitely go, they know how to run a show.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
