This place is very cool. It's an old warehouse with 3 floors. What I like about it most is either you can stay on the floor, or go up to the 3rd level and relax on one of the couches and still hear the music fine. It's a great venue. One of NYC best!!

I went to see The 1975 at terminal 5, on the 8th of May. Now I have been to terminal 5 before for other events and the service was not wonderful the other times either but this time it was disgusting. I arrived at the venue at 7:45a.m. because I was determined to get a good spot. I went with... More

Went to see Chvrches there. My first time there and most of the reviews I have read seem about right. I probably would not go there again unless I ABSOLUTELY needed to see the particular band and they weren't playing elsewhere. Atmosphere was fine. A warehouse type look with 3 floors. Sound seemed adequate for Chvrches sound (they were great... More

While I was in NYC last year, I went with a friend to Terminal 5. The Bowery's properties are usually up to snuff, so I had no problem trying it out. I booked a parking spot with my phone's handy park whiz app and booked a spot nearby. We were there to see CHVRCHES (I think that's how it was... More

I really want to like this place. It's a big open space and drink prices are less horrible than most concert venues. However, they just can't seem to keep on schedule. Both times I've been here, the main act went on 2 hours late, and there was no opener or other entertainment. Just stand and wait and wait and wait.... More

Went there to see Placebo. Good venue overall, sound is thick and loud. Prices for drinks are average for that type of venues. Bars are plenty so you won't spend much time in lines for your drink. If you are a smoker, be ready to refrain from smoking as you won't be able to re-enter. After all, it was a... More

This venue is fantastic! Very spacious, lots of places to sit and you can see the stage from anywhere on the second floor. Fairly inexpensive, too!

Outdoor venues are always better; however, this is one of NY's best indoor spots. Usually a good balance of having a full room with room to maneuver--many great acts roll through.

Terminal 5 tends to have a good selection of live music, mostly in the alternative music genre. It seems to be a popular NYC tour stop for bands that aren't quite big enough to sell out a place like Radio City, much less an arena like MSG or Barclays. I give Terminal 5 props for the selection it offers. Otherwise,... More

Terminal 5 is a large enough venue that you can hang back and still see the stage. We had no problems with the staff. Drinks are a little pricey but that's to be expected. It has a second and third level to look down on everyone too. Guess it all depends on the show you're going to see, but we... More
