I enjoy a good cigar every day, and with New York's smoking laws, it's hard to find a place to smoke. We didn't go for the show, just for a cigar. A variety of excellent liquor is available and served in reasonable pourings. They sell cigars, but I had my own - which cost a $10 "cutting" fee. The ambiance... More

The club may not be the best set up for an orchestra but they more than made up for it in great service and great atmosphere on Saturdays with Sinatra! My friend and I caught the 8 PM show with Steven Miraglio, Great Great Great!

Nice club with a great orchestra/band with a lead singer that does Sinatra justice! Bartenders not extremely friendly, but I guess that's how it is in Manhattan. Don't look to grab a beer, no bottled beer is served, they will pour a corona. But the cocktails are very good. I have been many times and reviews about the excessive smoke... More

Show was amazing... the singer and the band were great. the only issue, which is a big one for me... it is awfully smokey... my north face jacket reeked of smoke for a few days, and needed to get dry-cleaned, as did everything else. I was surprised by the jacket however, as we had left it at coat check. From... More

Loved this place. The music was excellent, a Frank Sinatra guy with an orchestra. The only downside is, smoking is allowed, it seemed just about everybody had the biggest cigars I have ever seen. Could hardly breathe the next morning. We went to the last show at 10.30 its was so much dun

After pre-dinner drinks at The Campbell Apartment my husband was informed by the hostess of The Carnegie Club. Which is all in the same group including our dinner restaurant if Madison & Vine. All three of these destinations made fir an exceptional evening. However The Carnegie was wonderful! Great atmosphere and cocktail list. Their cigar list is extensive and my... More

This might only exist like this in NYC -- The Carnegie Club -- a place of smoky cigars, good scotch and old school crooning, populated by a crowd of well dressed sophisticates. Welcome back to the Good Life. The Carnegie Club in mid town recreates what we think existed in the 50s with Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack at... More

What a wonderful place. Go on a Saturday is a MUST. Steven Maglio sings Sinatra and he is amazing, sounds identical to the real a Frank . The band is wonderful. It does get smokey be it is a cigar bar but it's worth it. Have a cigar, sip on a cocktail and let the sounds of the past bring... More

It was a great place to slow down, enjoy a cigar and whiskey and enjoy live jazz (depending on the night). I went on a Saturday night, and it was a great experience. Will do again.

We spent two evenings at Carnegie Club. Basically, we were just walking down the street looking for a bar and stumbled on this place and we had a great time. Staff are very friendly and the mixed drinks were outstanding (especially the "smokey orange sour). Very old school feel with comfortable chairs and sofas. It is a smoking bar, so... More
