Had only read about Birdland and its history, amongst others, involving Charlie Parker. It was basically as expected. Great jazz and personal service in typical jazz club surroundings. I travel home much richer than when I came. I have really physically been to Birdland!

I have never walked out of there thinking I paid money and wasted 2 hours on lousy entertainment. Their headliner is now the famous MAC (Manhattan Assc of Cabarets and Clubs) award winner Natalie Douglas. She is now taking up residence on Sunday nights with occasional guest performers. Yesternight, Birdland was graced by Ms. Carol Woods who did two tearful... More

"The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook,” is considered one of the premier interpreters of American standards." And how, Mr. Feinstein not only interprets but entertains with background and stories about his experiences with famous composers and personalities from LA to NYC. Highly recommend

saw Michael Feinstein--great show. close seating but stage and performer was visible. This was an expensive show due to 15 pc orchestra and holiday season. Hope to return and see more up and coming singers.

The place feels like a kind of speakeasy, the musical performance of Birdland Big Band was excellent and the food good although not outstanding. You can visit without ordering food, which I might consider another time.

There isn't a seat in this place that is bad, even at the bar. Lots of space and service is wonderful. My wife, son and I went on dec 27th to see Michael Feinstein and his BIg Band. What a great show with a special Frank Sinatra medley. There was no room at the bar so we got an upgrade... More

This is not the original Birdland, but kudos to the owners who are trying to keep the history alive. It’s a good sized space where people are not crammed tightly in. It’s a very comfortable jazz venue. A nice collection of food options. Service is good. Bookings tend to be a bit more middle-America than Village Vanguard or Jazz Standard.

My wife an I went to Birdland, sat at a front row table, enjoying Tommy Igoe and the Birdland Big Band. (Which was terrific ) they do serve food there which we wish we had known before.
