The Beacon is a beautiful venue! I have attended Allman Brothers shows there in 2009 and 2014. Hope to visit again on my next trip to New York!

This is a beautiful old theatre with a lot of atmosphere. The home of The Allman Brothers residency for many years, I was fortunate to see their last series here. Friendly staff, roomy seats, excellent facility!

Saw the Allman Brothers Band in this historic theater. The view of the band was great from our seats close to the top of the balcony, and I thought the sound quality was excellent too. We would definitely go to another concert at the Beacon!

Saw Kevin James and Richie Minervini in stand up. To start Richie Minervini was quite funny and had some good ones not heard before. Kept us roaring. Kevin James was good but had heard some and a lot about kids which if you have children you know the stories. All in all it was a fun night out. Had gone... More

I purchased four tickets for a play held at the beacon theater 3 months in advance. When I arrived at the theater I was told that the four of us could not be seated in the seats that I paid over $400 for because they removed one of the seats to fit a sound board. My question is why make... More

Beautiful old theater...saw the Tedeschi/Trucks band last week and what a great concert. Could get drinks all through the show and the Pages were so helpful. Hope to visit The Beacon again when in NYC.

The Band was great, but the sound on the bacony REALLY SUCKS. It was as if the top speakers in the venue were turned off. All sound came from downstairs and it was muddy, spacy and roomy in a really bad way.

This building, which is the older sister of the Radio City Music Hall is wonderfully decorated in the Art Deco style. It was designed by the Chicago architect Walter Ahlschlager and opened in 1929. We went to see Rodrigo y Gabriella and despite being "up in the gods" the acoustics were amazing. Normally theirs is usually a guitars only performance,... More

The CSN concert was fabulous but the theatre venue was an unexpected bonus. The acoustics were fabulous and it had such a sense of intimacy in spite of being full and a sold-out performance. Would go back any time.
