Nice old theatre which apparently has been refurbished recently. Frankie Valli was very good for a man of his age and performed all the old numbers with, I suspect, the help of modern technology. The show was late in starting and, strangely enough, started within minutes of the start of some slow hand clapping in the stalls. We had good... More

Visiting New York and the hotel staff worked hard to find us a show on Broadway, no luck as we left it till the last minute but they noticed that frankie Valle was in town and got us two amazing seats in the house. Having seen him in London I was excited to see the show man again. Indeed he... More

I saw Bob Dylan here last December. This is a legendary old venue that has been updated and refurbished by Madison Square Garden Entertainment, that now owns the property. Once a movie theater when movie theaters were escapes from the dreary Depression, it now is mainly a concert venue. The great advantage of the Beacon is that it is relatively... More

Went to the Valentine 70's Soul Jam. Excellent show.. First time the we were at the Beacon and was in awe of how beautiful it was inside. The ceiling, the lighting, everything about it was fantastic. The seats with very comfortable and clearly there were enough leg room that you were not squashed against the seat in front in you... More

We saw Jamie Cullum here on Feb 5, and he was amazing as usual. However, I have never seen a more sedate and seemingly uninterested crowd. He is a young, energetic performer but the crowd was bringing him down. It was definitely an older crowd than he usually draws, not sure if it was location? We have seen Jamie 8... More

We were very excited to attend this concert! Our only complaint was the seats we sat in were not as good as we thought. For the money we paid we thought the seats would've been better! The saying hot air rises is an understatement as it was 20 degrees hotter & we had To go to the lower level to... More

I had fond memories of my first trip to New York back in 1998 and a wonderful gig featuring The Allman Brothers Band here and was delighted to find out that Gov't Mule were going to play their New Years Eve show here. I was not disappointed, a totally wonderful evening. The theater is one of the old classic theaters... More

First time at the Beacon and was in awe of how beautiful it was inside. The ceiling, the lighting, everything about it was beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Acoustics were great; nice atmosphere and beautifully restored. Easily accessible by train as well. Great spot for a concert.

The beacon is a older venue. Which also gives it a classic feel, The sound system is perfection and the seats were comfortable; the staff was professional and on point and the bar was fully stocked and the line moved extremely quick; the stage is perfect for a broadway show or an intimate concert which puts the artist, front and...
