Nothing to rave about

It was ol nothing to rave about. Its definitely not worth the 18 bucks they charge to view the museum. Just lool around upstairs at their gift shop.

Disappointing - floor devoted to Linda Lovelace and one devoted to sex in animals ... poorly laid out and poorly done. Expensive and just tacky.

well i saw this store listed when i looked up "things to do in NYC" and it caught my attention. After a broadway show, my boyfriend and i decided to walk 17 blocks in the cold to go. The outside of the store is cool, because they made it look like steamy windows with two images of people having sex in... More

It was actually more porny than we expected. We expected exhibits on sex through the ages type stuff. How the Victorians shaped our attitudes towards sex, how different isolated peoples view sex, etc. What we got was a Linda Lovelace exhibit, and an arcade of strange, oddly unsexual games including a Boobs Moon Bounce type thing... The museum was very... More

This could be so much better. The Linda Lovelace floor was cool. Gave an overview of her history, the beginnings of porn, etc. I wish the whole place was like that floor. A mix of history and erotica. Instead the other 3 exhibits left much to be desired. The animal floor was expansive but dull. The Playland floor was small... More

Mingle in the gift shop and find I the quirky bar in the back. Check out the exhibits only if strange acts of sex don't make you blush and run for the door. Like the 'act' itself ... seems like there could be more. Should have done the Boob Bouncy House.

We decided to stop by here during a rainy day after seeing an advert on the subway about "Funland". It was quite a fun place, although without the Funland exhibit I am not sure it would have been as enjoyable. The first exhibition we saw was rather graphic so be prepared! A good way to spend a rainy/cold day, but... More

The most interesting thing was the animal sex exhibit... Does that make me weird? The mirrored funhouse maze where you try to find the G Spot in the dark was fun too, and only slightly more difficult than the real thing. Not worth a trip on its own, but if you're in the FlatIron district with an hour to kill,... More

Seemed this place was left short of what it might be. Has potential but lacks depth and span. A whole room for Linda Lovelace? Please. So much they missed. Fun for 20 minutes though. If u don't care about 20 bucks, well worth it.
