jazz At Lincoln Center is the best jazz education center in town. Concerts, Shows, Videos, Lectures, Workshops, Freebies, functions, it's all held there. I'm so glad this place came to fruition. The former Allen Room now the spell with Central Park and 59th St & columbus Circle for a background... you have a magnificent NYC view. And the talent that performs in from of these 4 story windows is just as good as the view with not even more Heavenly!

Check a newspaper or the web site to learn who is playing and when. Entertainers play in front of huge windows with exquisite views. Table seating as well as a bar. Enjoy a small plate and a drink. Several seatings to pick from depending on whether you are an early bird or a night owl.

We've visited Dizzy's Club CocaCola at the Jazz Center several times. Never disappointed. Most recently we were there when our friend Dion Parsons and the 21st Century Band debuted their new album. The US Virgin Island's talent is spectacular and was matched by the beauty of this club. Terrific.

The musical acts are always excellent and the atmosphere unmatched. The view of Central Park and across town via 59th Street are incredible. Great acoustics, friendly staff. A gem inside a hectic city.

The world class trumpeter and jazz musician Winton Marsalis leads this amazingly talented orchestra through various selections on any given night. Mr. Marsalis introduces the pieces played giving background information to the music and the composer. It is ALWAYS a good night immersing yourself in jazz at the Lincoln Center.

This is a cool venue but parking was soooo annoying. We almost missed the show. Next time I'm definitely using spothero.com and booking parking in advance!!

Been a subscriber for years and it only gets better. Some of the finest jazz musicians appear regularly. The entire venue is a treat. Even intermissions are a pleasure. Go early and enjoy free music and a drink.

I love Lincoln Center- all of it- It's fun in the summer to bring a lunch and sit near the center fountain and people watch. We have made it a tradition to go to the New Years Eve gala at the Met. as a way of celebration. The New York Ballet and theater and other offerings at the various venues... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
