A great place to enjoy such a variety of live Jazz. Great views over Central Park. Right there with all the facilities of Lincoln Center. Neat restaurants and cool places to visit right in the same building make any trip there a full experience. Because of the location at the heart of Columbus Circle on Manhattan's upper west side most... More

We had box seats to a great live jazz concert at Lincoln Center, one block or so from the south east corner of Central Park. The venue was wonderful and the acoustics amazing

Amazing musicians in the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra lead by Wynton Marsalis with guest 81 year old jazz legend Wayne Shorter. We were blown away by the incredible sounds from these top notch musicians.

I am not a fan of jazz, but Lincoln Center is also home to The Metropolitan Opera and the Vivian Beaumont Theatre. Visit the website of either to see what's playing at any given time. For those of you who have never seen an opera, I suggest you give it a try. Julia Roberts (a woman of the streets) did... More

On our most recent visit to NYC, my wife and I were fortunate to obtain tickets to a Wayne Shorter concert at the Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center. We have been here before for concerts by Joshua Redman and the late Joe Zawinul. Depending on your ticket location, you take the elevator to either the 5th or 6th... More

This is a really great Jazz Club on the 5th floor. We saw Jeff Hamilton trio and they were great. The food is good and there isn't a bad seat in the house. The extra bonus is the view of Lincoln Center/Central Park.

We hadn't booked but called in during the day hoping we could get a table for four that evening. Very friendly and helpful lady suggested we came for the late show, which we did and certainly didn't regret it. It's a fabulous venue with a wonderful backdrop glass wall looking across the lights of New York. The food was excellent,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
