We enjoyed the show, and it's a terrific musical of course, but we missed the full power of quite a few of the numbers, which were performed a bit too fast. Afterwards, they were trying to speed up the exiting crowd (which was slowed because of the rain outside), to get the theater ready for the next performance, and I... More

We saw Phantom while visiting NYC and were completely blown away by the Players, costumes, props, and special effects. An amazing performance and thoroughly enjoyed! We couldn't stop talking about it that night when we got back to our room. We had seen the play on tour before but it was nothing like seeing it on Broadway at the Majestic... More

I cannot say how much I enjoyed this opera! The stage, the actors, all the special effects--things I wasn't expecting from a live performance. The story is beautiful and the constant action kept us on our toes. Kids were a little bit lost but I would definitely see this production over and over again.

I loved it, I was mind-blown. I felt like when a small kid goes for the first time to Disney. I love the Phantom of the Opera as a story, and this was the only way I would ever see it in person. I believed that Broadway theaters were over-hyped, I was so wrong! First thing I'll do next time... More

I've seen this show in the West End in London and it's equally as good in NYC. The theatre is beautiful. Very intimate. We got our tickets 30 minutes before the show starts from TKTS by the steps for half price. We thought the seat would be in the heavens but they were amazing! I'd recommend doing it this way... This was my first Broadway experience and I was literally blown away! I recommend purchasing your tickets from www.viator.com. My Family and I got awesome seats. I can't even describe how exhilarating it was when the chandelier rose to the ceiling and the set completely transformed from dark and dreary to a spectacular display of colorful costumes, singing and dancing.... I always love phantom of the opera so I went and saw it in new york and I was very impessed. The music would be the best music in history of musicals, but Les Miz has the best music in history of musicals, but phantom comes second. I loved every second of it and it would have been perfect if... More

How can you not love the iconic Phantom on Broadway? It's a classic must see as was Cats before it closed.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
