Walkin' Broadway™ has the visitors to Times Square dancing in the streets! This is the best of both worlds: A personable, knowledgeable guide AND the music and recorded narration of a first class audio tour. There is no better place to hear the facts and stories of Broadway’s history, architecture, music, and humor. While personally guided through the Great White Way, the entire tour is broadcast to your own headset so you can follow each beat of the music and hear every word. The music is direct from the Broadway cast recordings. The recorded voices are recorded exclusively for Walkin’ Broadway by some of the greatest legends, performers and luminaries as well as the backstage guys and gals who make Broadway the center of the entertainment world!

We met Rory at "the actors Chapel"... recieved our headsets... off we went! Rory along with other celebrities via recording, delighted us with stories and experiences from the beautiful Broadway theaters we visited. We even learned a trick or two on how to snatch tickets for performances! Overall it was great experience! Wear your walking shoes!

We took a Walkin' tour of Broadway on Saturday as part of a school trip involving 17 kids. Our tour guide Krystle spoke eloquently and was very informative as she took as around a variety of New York's theatres. The set up is really great as you wear a headset for the duration of the tour, with Krystle's commentary interspersed... More

Raina did a great job today. She sang us songs, taught us dance moves, and she was entertaining. We really enjoyed the walk with the guide. The headphones helped us hear her better. And you can bring your own headphones. Excellent day and weather made for a perfect tour. It was just the 4 of us so it was like... More

I went on this tour because my 23-year old daughter wanted to do it and it sounded interesting. I was not expecting it to be so totally jam-packed with interesting information! The time breezed by and our tour guide, Laura Nell, was amazing: friendly, fun with a fabulous voice to boot!! I thoroughly expect to hear more from her in... More

A must for every theater enthusiasts! A great historical journey of Broadway past and present done with music. Raina, our tour guide was both knowledgeable and fun. A very enjoyable 90 minutes.... I actually wanted it to last longer and hear more. That was the second time I "danced" on Broadway! 😀

Our guide was Rory and we really enjoyed the tour. Based on the temperatures we had (it was like being in a freezer :-)) Rory gave us a really very interesting and perfect insight into Broadway's theatre world. If we would recommend the tour? Definitely!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
