Very breathtaking to just sit and watch what is going on around you. Take a rest on the red steps and breathe in NY life. Very special

The City that never sleeps. Take the walk and see it by night which is better than the day time! My favorite place to see!

I recommend newcomers to NY stop here first. It always has useful information, maps, ideas, and clean restrooms. You also can see some history of Times Square.

This is an experience once should definitely have. Just being at the square and taking a 360 degree spin is amazing. We practically spent half the day here while in NYC. Shopped, played, ate, danced, everything. Its great to see so much life and light around. The place is buzzing all the time and its like a never ending party.

So many people! Wow this place is just amazing from seeing so many people in one spot at one time to the great street food and the amazing characters who just walk up and ask would you like to take a picture. Times square has so many things going on so just pull your camera out so you can remember... More

Fun place to visit, crazy fast moving screens, lots of people, places you will recognize. Can't visit New York without seeing Times Square.

Few years ago, Time Square was not the safest place to be, now it is a nice and crowded place to visit. I use to have an hotel 1-2 blocks from here because it is at a walking distance from all attractions of Manhattan. Suggested.

This place rocks 24/7 - summer is fun here and the streets are filled with dancers, artists, sculptors and musicians. Eateries galore for every budget. The biggest IMAX theatre around and the staff there are fantastic.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
