We stopped in to see what the hype was about after seeing Dylan Lauren on the Martha Stewart Show. It's a glorified candy store. Overpriced and the staff is just mean. The only cute, somewhat memorable moment was walking down the steps which were lined with candy. And the quote "may each step you take be sweet". Seriously, skip it.... more

I can't even tell you what (besides throngs of kids and their parents) was on the bottom floor. My family and I ventured up to the 3rd floor for cupcakes and ice cream. Although good, they weren't exceptional. The glass tables filled with gumballs were cute but dirty. This, I dare say, is more of a tourist attraction than anything... more

When I told my boyfriend that Ralph Lauren's daughter had a candy store his eyes lit up. We had an afternoon to spend in NYC so after lunch/dessert at Serendipity 3 we popped in to Dylan's Candy Bar to buy some presents for his family. We bought some gold mine gum, jelly beans, fudge, and more. Well worth the visit! more

WOWIE ZOWIE! From the minute you walk in the door until you leave, you see candy of every shape and variety -- bulk candy, candy bars, seasonal candy and best of all lots of chocolate candy! Our girls had a blast loading up their bags with scoops of candy. They also enjoyed making fruit and marshmallow k-bobs to dip in... more

I can' imagine thinking Dylan's is a small place - first off! The place is palacial in terms of candy stores...and I think it is way more varied than most candy factory styled stores. The top floor is a fab ice cream and cupcake bar with loads of soda fountain meets Wonkaland charm. The first floor has a generous variety... more

This place once you get there is SMALL! It's hot inside and the workers are just "all over the place" but not seemingly like they are doing anything but "existing". I guess this place in on the verge of weird. I thought it would be cleaner, but it was just a mess! You could see garbage and old things just... more

Those people who hated this place really need to relax and have more fun on their vacations. This is an adorable three floors of candy fun. Yes, it is overpirced but it is a candy store in NYC! What would you expect. My girlfriends and I had a blast wandering around picking out sweets for ourselves and our children (who... more

Such a cute store! I loved it! It doesn't matter how old you are, you're immediately transported back to that "kid-in-a-candy-store" feeling. Adorable! Three levels of fun for everyone. Unique chocolates, gifts, candies that you just can't find anywhere else! We stopped in Dylan's cafe and tried frozen hot chocolates, which were super yummy! Must stop for a first time... more

This New York landmark lives up to it's name. It is a sweet paradise. The store is so incredibly inviting with all the vibrant colors. You are greeted at the door by a greeter and it feels like you are walking into a Candy Wonderland. They have all types of candies. There are three floors. Down stairs is where they... more

Spent the day at the museum with the kids & took them there as a surprise at the end of the day. They LOVED it! The ice cream bar is okay, but let them fill up a bag of candy & they will have FUN! more
