I spotted this shop whilst leaving Bloomingdale's and as we were collecting various American candy's to take home, we could not resist a visit.
There are three floors and it being a Saturday afternoon it was jam packed. All sorts of candy which were very nicely presented some with celebrity endorsements and all rather expensive. You could also find a...

We stopped here and managed to get all our souvenirs for all our family, there was so much choice, it was an amazing little shop!
3 floors of candy ... a restaurant that has an order station for "create your own" peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Lots of different types of chocolate and hard candy. The presentation is incredible. The whole time you're in there, they are offering you samples of their chocolates and of their smoothies.
we took a lot of pictures inside the store, the selection of candy was enormous and pretty to look at. we were disappointed we couldn't eat there, on the web site said they were open 'til 10 but were only open 'til 9 and stopped serving @ 8
After reading reviews and seeing pictures of this touristy shop I was very disappointed in the overall lack of ambiance in what is billed as a "Willy Wonka" type candy shop. This candy shop needs to be cleaned, badly. We wouldn't go back or recommend it as an NYC stop.
Walked for miles to find this place, and teared up with joy when we finally got there. Candy, candy, candy everywhere! Anyone with a sweet tooth will find delight. Gourmet candy, old-fashioned candy, rare candy, healthy candy, baked goods, every kind of chocolate imaginable...
Also, indulge in their awesome made-to-order restaurant thing! It's expensive, like everything in NYC, but had...

Love all of the old school candy options as well as the favorites like chocolate pretzels, etc. The bartender and drinks were amazing! I had a chocolate martini (just enough alcohol and tasted smooth and rich), friends tried the sour patch and nerd drinks...no complaints there either! A must stop in in the evening after all the children and parties...

Went there because of the missus. This store has it all. Ice cream, gummy bears, chocolate,... And for all "non-americans": you can buy bacon flavored chocolate to shock your friends and family back home.
As a fashion buyer, I wanted to get my niece something for her birthday. She is 10 and loves candy. I've been here a few times before and never understood what the fuss was about. I will never go back! The staff is RUDE. I saw an associate talking to a larger woman in plain clothes (not in a store...
