I'm currently sat in Dylans Candy Bar. Stood for ten minutes waiting to be sat with completely disinterested and rude waitresses. Walking past and making no eye contact. One eventually deigned to sit us without saying a word. Eventually after getting a waiters attention we were told to place our order at the bar by Charles, the only pleasant and... More

It's lots of fun candy downstairs, but suprisingly we really enjoyed the restaurant upstairs. I would recommended making reservation. The kids — teens in our case — will love the candy infused drinks and the adults will also love the candy infused drinks with alcohol. The service was great. They gave us a free desert! Just what we needed in... More

The store seems like it has seen better days. It was very dirty, not much help in the store and just seemed drab & sad overall. Hardly any of the merchandise had been priced - there was a lot we wanted to buy but nothing we wanted had pricing on it and we couldn't find staff to help us. We... More

I thought it was a candy store....but saw they had also an ice cream shoppe. The ice cream was delicious but the picture in the menu didn't do it justice. Be prepared to share a bowl because it's too much for one person to eat!😊

Unique candy and chocolates...great for parties and gifts. Wrappers and containers so cute and the chocolate is tasty and fresh. It is always busy and a fun place to visit.

If you like Candy you must visit this store!! We stumbled across this store on our way back from the Roosevelt island Ariel tram and couldn't resist. Although there is a lot to choose from I wouldn't buy a lot of it but it is fun to look. We did come away with some delicious 'Dylan's Candy' salted chocolate caramels... More

Lots and lots of candy! Sooo many choices on the three floors! Fun atmosphere and dessert on the upper level was yummy. Staff was very nice and Nicholas was super nice and helpful. Must stop with kids our adults that live candy. A few doors down from Serendipity.

This store has three floors of candy. It is hog heaven, and our grandson couldn't have been happier. If you go, make sure you're going to the 60th Avenue store and not the corporate HQ, a mistake we almost made from the Internet. Candy is expensive, but we allowed him to have the $16 canister that he got to fill... More

There's a lot to do in NYC, especially with kids (mine are 12 and 9), but this is worth the stop. Our experience was great all around, from customer service to the vast amount of available candies. Stay away from the national brands - there's a lot of it but you can get it cheaper in your local store. Go... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
