After being on the mailing list for 6 months before our New York holiday, the shop was a bit smaller than I was expecting! We didn't eat in the cafe as the kids were only interested in the candy bar that you could fill up various containers to the brim with your favorite sugary delights of which there was a... More

It's across the road from Bloomingdales and just down from Serendipity 3 so that's a few hours sorted. 3 Floors of sweetie heaven. They sell everything you can imagine from Willy Wonka's chocolate to Beer flavoured jelly beans. Lots of sweetie gifts and everything you can imagine. Worth a visit. It is expensive but my little boy loved it. The... More

Sugar, sugar sugar! 3 floors of Candy designed to appeal to adults and children alike. There is almost too much choice in this Willy Wonka type wonderland. Now I like sweets and chocolate but this was almost too much from when you first enter the store to be met with the sweet smell of success (and flavoured candy). Most disappointingly,... More

We went to Dylan's Candy Bar wen we were there 7 years ago. My daughter has talked and talked about it. This time we were celebrating her 16th birthday so we decided to try the lunch cafe. They really tried to make it a special time. The food was good cafe menu (we had a tuna wrap, chicken cobb salad... More

I won't lie, every minute spent in Dylan's Candy Bar is pure fun, especially for those chocolate\sweets\candies fans out there. Most amazing selection and variety of sweets I've ever seen, truly over 5000 kinds of chocolates and so. The place is beautiful and colorful, which you cannot ignore from the first moment you enter the store. My only problem with... More

Very cool bright cheerful store. They have so many types of candy. They are expensive, but it's NYC. Some candy I haven't seen since childhood so I will pay the price for a little nostalgia. Prices are not on a lot of the items. Having to take things up to get a price check was a little daunting. We had... More

You must pay Dylan's a visit! What a fab idea having a cocktail bar upstairs in the sweet shop.. Me and friends thought it would be a nice idea to have a cocktail break from all the 5th avenue shopping (over the road from Bloomingdales) Reasonably priced cocktails decorated with lots of sweets of course, fun idea well done Dylan... Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
