We visited Dylan's around 1:00pm on a Tuesday and it was not crowded at all. In fact, we had the whole seating area on the top floor to ourselves for most of the visit. The decor is great, especially on the top floor where you can eat at gumball filled tables while sitting in giant cupcakes. Four of us ordered... More

Their actual bar has some of the BEST tasting alcoholic concoctions I have ever tasted! Definitely worth going. The blood orange mojito is excellent!

We always visit this store every time we go to New York. It is candy heaven for kids! With three floors of sugar loaded options and transparent stairs to all levels filled with candy, it's easy to see why kids love it here. It is expensive, but then you go for the experience and it is New York.

Typical candy store on the first two floors, but the third floor made it memorable. We were not planning to stick around but could not turn down the candy-inspired cocktails or the decadent desserts. All very yummy. Our server could not have been sweeter. The cost was a little high, but then again we were in NYC.

This was a so-so candy store with ho-hum candies higher priced than usual. Didn't see anything unusual about this store other than it's owned by Ralph Lauren's daughter. Guess we were expecting some unusual candy and it just wasn't there. Spent $16.00 on a very small fist-sized bag of chocolate malted milk balls and chocolate cashews. Threw away the chocolate... This is a two story candy store owned by Ralph Lauren's daughter, Dylan. It is a teeny bopper mecca. In general it is just an overpriced candy store. I have been to many others like it. It is really nothing special. However, when traveling with 3 teen aged girls, we had to stop. They had some fun stuff like pop... More

Okay, the stairs are cool - all kinds of gummy candy imbedded in the floor - total Candy Land. But does that make it a bucket list destination? No. Crowded, loud, overpriced and cheaply made items, Dylan's Candy Bar is a good idea, with poor execution.

This is a magical place, no question. But as other reviews have noted, there are some downsides. First of all, we have been several different times of the year and it is always chaos. Tons of kids and adults, and kids who are crazy to be in candy land. Second, the volume of people means it gets dirty and messy... More

OK, first off, I'm NOT an internet hater. Look at my other reviews, but stay away from this place. Sure, if you're walking by, poke your head in and look so that you can tell your friends you were there, but DO NOT make it a destination. It totally isn't worth it. Th essence of this place is a tourist... More

Dylan's Candy Bar is definitely a place worth checking out especially for those that have kids/early teens traveling in their party. It's a 3 story candy superstore! You name the candy, they have it. Old-time candy to the craziest sour candy, it's there. Be ready to bust out some serious cash though. Just like everything else in NYC, it's expensive.... More
