Terrific visit. We are a candy loving family and the kids ( a 6 year old and 16 year old ) and I all found treats galore! The Dylan's Candy Bar candy bars? Delicious! We spent way too long in the store and our 6 year old has been asking to go back ever since...

I asked for sugar-free candy and was lead downstairs to candy-heaven. WOW! Sugar-free jellybellies, sugar-free redvines, suar-free chocolates, ETC. I also picked out a small paint can and filled with my husband's favorites. For myself, notecards with candy images on them.

To be honest, I don't have the biggest sweet tooth but although it's like the place to stop, I decided to try it. The chocolate as good. Not the best I've ever tasted. Normal. The merchandise is what I was interested in. Cute T-shirts, Pillows and great gifts for teachers and friends. But overall, VERY pricey. I bought an ornament,... More

If you love candy and you're in NYC, you have to come here. I love the variety at Dylan's Candy Bar and I've been coming here for years but I still think they should have a wider selection so I give it four stars. (As you can tell, I'm greedy for sugar!)

It's a great place but don't fill your little plastic bag too full...it's about $8 a pound for the loose chocolate candy. My daughter went a little crazy and bout about $40 worth of chocolate which melted as we walked around in the summer heat. Go there when you can spend time and really pick up only what you want/need.... More

Amazingly well done candy shop! Takes you back to your youth. Really well done themed shop with every type of candy and candy history you could ever ever want. Love going here. Always fun and happy.

We had lunch. Tuna wraps were chunk light tuna like you get out of a can. Sundaes were good but overpriced. Candy was mostly pure sugar, cheap product that was way overpriced for the quality. It was also overcrowded with long lines of people willing to pay for mediocre product cause it had the name Dylan on it. Save your... More

A 3 story candy store is exciting. The smell is very good. The kids loved the range of options. I started looking for a price and I ended up asking the attendant. They do not put prices on items; they do not offer a self service price check point. It is necessary to line up at the register for a... More

This was our first visit to Dylan's Candy Bar's flagship store and it did not disappoint. Located not too far from Central Park (a nice place to walk off all those extra calories you no doubt will have consumed after shopping. LOL) the store was easy to find. We've been to the small store at Mohegan Sun- which is a... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
