Fun Atmosphere

My two young girls loved walking through the store. It has all types of candy and the staff was friendly. It is a great rainy day activity. Will return.

Dylan's has so many different kids of candy, and yes the price is more expensive then at a grocery or drug store but they have many unique choices, tons in bulk, so you can pick and choose, and the store design is bright and fun. It makes me smile when I'm there. They have every kind of shaped gummy candy... More

One of the most expensive candy store I've ever visited (and I visited quite a few...). The workers are impolite, the design is poor, and the variety of candies is not very big (in comparison to CandyLand stores). A total waste of time.

Went in with an "offer" from NYC Pass....and that was a joke (fill a "can" for $13 when it would be same or at most $16 regular price).....great locale is all they have going for them.....good staff makes up for some but not all of price atrocity...

After a couple of visits before on our own we were able to take our 10 year old towns to Dylan's for the first time and it didn't disappoint. They were in children's heaven! Well worth a visit, if you can go mid week during the day even better as quit ere but some of the features may not be... More

Read about reviews. Glad we stopped in while waiting for lunch at Serendipity down the street. Great idea. Kids were happy! Just watch how much you grab! Never thought I would spend a $100 on candy!

My daughter loves to visit Dylan's when we are in the city. This was out 4th visit and wanted to try the new cafe. The wait was 10 minutes which is great for NYC and the hostess was very nice. They text you when your table is ready so you can shop while you are waiting. Our waitress was new... More

We had bad experieces in both the store and the restaurant. We went later in the evening on April 2nd. It was a candy store. The kids filled up bags with the usual items you can get at home. Pricing was hard to determine and staff was practically non existent. The kids managed to puchase a good deal of candy... More

This was such a fun place to visit. I took three teenagers to Dylan's and they went crazy. The girls enjoyed finding all types of candy. There was a photo booth where they took tons of pictures in. Dylan's Candy Bar has three floors of sweets. The first two floors are filled with candy and candy novelties such as, tees, pillows,... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
