What a lovely adventure for girls who are part of the American Girl doll culture. While everything has a substantial price tag, there is something for everybody and the experience hearkens back to another time when dolls were a big part of life for most girls. While that may have changed to a degree, there are still many who love... More

I was very disappointed with the food during dinner service at the restaurant. The food didn't have any taste and most of the children in our party took about three or four spoonfuls of the food and left the rest untouched. I have eaten lunch at the restaurant before and the food was great but I would never return for... More

So I'm 21 years old. I have had about 6 AG dolls, hundreds of $$ of Ag clothing & accessories , but donated all of it except for my pleasant co. Kirsten. Ever since I was about 7, I dreamed of going to the American Girl Place. Sadly I was never able to go until now. So my boyfriend and... More

We took our 8 year old granddaughter for dinner and a shopping spree for her birthday treat. The cafe is lovely. The colors are white linens with coral accents against dark wood. We were in a little room that looked out on 5th Ave. The dinner meals were about $26.00 each and there were nice choices for both adults and... More

Visited on a Sunday in June 2014 for my niece's birthday with my 7 year old niece, sister and mother. We took Amtrak from Albany into NYC and used cabs in front of Madison Square Garden. We had booked lunch reservations ahead of time and were given a 1pm seating. While we waited for lunch we had plenty of time... More

My Mom and I were visiting NYC in November and while we are adults, I still wanted to experience the flagship store just to say I had experienced it. First, there are 4 floors of way too much stuff. It is entirely overstimulating for young children. There were temper tantrums and breakdowns each way I turned over not getting something... More

My daughter was looking forward visiting this store but the amounts of people was a disappointment. It was really hard to walk around, they were tons of people in the store, tons. So there was no way I was going to buy anything with the long lines when you can buy it online. She liked visiting the store but I... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
