We've been here before and we'll be back. 3 floors of amazing dolls and outfits. The variety of dolls is great, something for everyone. We're getting one in our neighborhood very soon, look forward to it. If you have a little one, you must go here!

This stop was part of a family weekend we spent in the city. My daughter and her friends brought along their American Girl Dolls with them to the store to get their hair fixed/redone. Not sure if you read my other post, but if you plan on going to this store on a holiday weekend, please check to see if... More

A great place for girls (or bigger girls). The shop is amazing. With a cafe and salon so many things can be done. We bought two dolls as a present for this Christmas. Yes it is expensive but I think everyone knows that ahead of time. We will reserve the cafe for a birthday celebration. The dolls and girls outfits... More

I spent far too much money, but I am a sucker for dolls! My granddaughter is only three and a little too young to appreciate the excitement. I wish they had this when I was a little girl. It is like Christmas and spending all your money is one big package!

We have gone many times to New York City as we live in New Jersey. However, I have never heard of the American Girl Place before my daughter told me about it. She said she wanted to have her own American Girl Doll as a 7th birthday present. Well, I found out that the American Girl Place is right near... More

You need to know that American Girl promotion really bruised the eye of the Jills steals and deals promotion. As soon as I saw the promotion I instantly placed an order with American Girl through the promotional link. Their site had so much traffic it was experiencing problems. I ordered a doll $67 and clothing set $39 that totaled $106... More

We have gone many times to American Girl Place which is right near Rockefeller Center (well, just across the street). My daughter almost fainted the first time she entered the store. The dolls and all their furniture and clothing are displayed on three different levels. Especially interesting is the historic dolls with their items on the 2nd floor. Let any... More

We visit NYC once or twice a year and we always have to visit American Girl because my daugher Ashley loves to see Moe at the Doll Salon. We met her a few years ago and she is always so welcoming, funny and goes above and beyond to make my daughter feel special when she visits the store. Matter of... More

The American Girl Store is very nice. They have stores everywhere. There is a salon and a cafe where a girl can go with her special doll. Get ready though, it is super expensive and I think that the staff could've been friendlier and more helpful.
