This store is a little girl's dream! With FOUR floors, be sure you have enough time to shop. We had to walk a long way to get to this store, and I wish they would make the outside a little more "magical and inviting," but it was still worth the walk!

Before I get too far, if you're considering getting a hairdo for a doll, go up to the salon right away as you'll need to schedule an appointment. While you're waiting then you can go walking around to shop.

My daughter and I visited American Girl Place last year. Having been to stores in St. Louis and Minneapolis, this is by far much larger and has just about every AG item you can think of. The only disappointment was that my daughter had her dolls ears pierced there, and when we got back to our room, we realized they... More

I took my two daughters aged 8 and 10 to this place. They like dolls but were awe struck with this place. I bought them a doll each to look like themselves. We then had to return the next day to buy more outfits. Now in Vancouver three days later they have tracked down an outlet at Indigo Store so... More

I traveled here with 2 adult friends and my one friend's daughter (8 yrs old). She had a smile on her face the entire time! Excellent selection and we did not need to wait in line to checkout. The store is very clean and all of the displays are impeccable. I was very impressed with this aspect! We enjoyed lunch... More

Great store. My wife dragged me to this gem of a store for little girls. It is an amazing store. Could not believe the line-up to get your doll's hair done. A marketing marvel. Anything that your doll needs, this store has it.

Three floors of dolls, doll clothes, doll accessories and doll books. Some people say American Girl is over priced. It's actually not. If anything it's too well made. It may be pricier than other doll lines but the quality is outstanding which drives the cost. They are very well made and if taken care of will last a lifetime. We... More

My granddaughter wanted to go here as a gift for her First Communion. We had a girls' day out and lunched with Grammy, Mommy, and two girls ages 10 and 8 with Dollies. The lunch was great. You start off with sweet rolls, then a crudités plate,. The girls both ordered Chicken tenders, Grammy got the Adian chicken salad and... More

Dreamland for doll lovers and little girls who are fans of American Girl dolls. We spent over two hours browsing this store. I wouldn't go without some sort of coupon -- certainly not a budget-friendly zone. We found the shop to be well-organized and a lot of fun. Just have a good idea of your budget and maybe visit the... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
