Today, Circle Line is the only cruise line dedicated exclusively to sightseeing, with vessels made of steel and over-sized glass windows that offer magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline, all year round. Owned and operated by New York Cruise Lines Inc., New York's oldest and largest provider of scheduled and chartered sightseeing and special event cruises, Circle Line is recognized as one of the most famous boat rides in the world. Sightseeing Tour Options: All Circle Line vessels offer first-class service, the best viewing opportunities and an entertaining, informative tour given by professional guides. Best of NYC Cruise - Take in over 101 city sights by water, including the Intrepid, Yankee Stadium, the Cloisters and a magnificent close-up of the Statue of Liberty. Landmark Cruise- Witness magnificent views of the world's premier skyline and such sights as the Empire State Building, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Liberty Cruise - The fastest and best way to see the Statue of Liberty! Sail down the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty and back, and view Ellis Island, the rising Freedom Tower and the World Financial Center, along the way. Harbor Lights Cruise - For something a bit more romantic, sail the same route as the Landmark Cruise while the sun sets and the skyline comes alive. The Beast Speedboat Ride - The Beast leaves all others in its wake as the Captain takes this custom-built 70-foot offshore racing powerboat up to 45 mph on a ride down to the Statue of Liberty. Circle Line looks forward to introducing you to New York.

A perfect way to spend a hot afternoon in NYC! We took the 1 1/2 hour Landmark cruise with Andy as tour guide extraordinaire! Learned so much about the history of not only lower Manhattan but also the NJ cities that border the Hudson.

We took the circle line for Manhattan Island, it was took around three hours. This was a real opportunity to see the whole island including Statue of Liberty from the see with guidance. Price was ok nevertheless it was very crowded. Try it,

I have been on the Circle Line several times, but not for at least 6 years until this last time. It hadn't ever occurred to me to check reviews on Trip Advisor before because we always enjoyed it, so i was surprised to see so many negative reviews when i did have a quick look! We went regardless. Okay, so... More

We did the Landmark tour that lasted 90 minutes. This was long enough to maintain interest and pack in a lot of facts and the main sights without time dragging as it can on some boat trips. There is a guide who was excellent, filling the trip with information and fun trivia. Seating is inside or out and there's a... More

We took the night tour with circle line cruises, and had a great time. The best way to see and take pictures of the new York skyline of a night. The tour guide was very informative, and everyone was very pleasant. I loved being able to take a night cruise on the harbour, it was so relaxing after a long... More

My mom and I came into the city for a quick visit. We thought the Circle Line cruise would be a nice overview of the city with great views from the water, and a restful activity for us to do after a week of traveling prior. We arrived about 1/2 hour before the cruise and were able to get seats... More

Take a boat tour on the hudson river, lean against someone you love, look at the magnificent Manhattan skyline - and then close your eyes... It's a little bit like heaven...

We chose the Landmark Cruise up the Hudson River to Lady Liberty then back down the East River spotting tall the wonderful New York City sights. This cruise was just great in every way. We have been walking around NYC for 3 days and to get out on the water to see the sights was a fabulous change. Well priced,not... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
