Good tour, but wrap up warm!

We opted for the 2.5hr tour of Manhattan which was a great way to see so much of the city, and even better as we paid the same as the shorter tour as it was on offer. It took a while to get going, we seemed to be sat in the dock listening to the tour guide which shockingly I... More

The Harbour Lights Cruise was brilliant. Went out in daylight, saw the beautiful colours change as the sunset and then had the spectacular experience of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline at night. Truly Amazing. Tip - Our guide made sure people didn't block the views but get there early to get a good seat.

Boat tour in October was a bit chilly. My fault for not wrapping up, it's always more chilly on water. We had an elderly gent as the audio guide and he was very funny as well as informative, it made the difference. Maybe not part of our top 5 but still pretty good

The 2.5 hour Best of NYC cruise was a great experience. Our guide was Malachy Murray who was very knowledgeable of the many points and places of interest on shore as well as interesting facts about New York. There were plenty of photo opportunities on deck along the route. I would recommend this cruise to anyone visiting New York on... More

I take this cruise around Manhattan every visit (weather permitting) and really enjoy the sights, historical information and fun facts. It is relaxing and you can see everything no matter where you're sitting. The crew was friendly and the guide was the best!! I would recommend this to everyone except young children, they would likely get bored.

We went with a group of teens.....and we went at dusk. It was a beautiful view of the scenery.....from the water......but our teens wanted to talk and the director kept coming out and telling them to be quiet. There are seats inside - and you can see through the glass- but at one point there was a picture I wanted... More

Bought a City Pass and already had Stautue of Liberty tickets, so the Circle Line cruise was honestly a bit of an after thought. We decided to use our tickets on our last night and do the eveing cruise round the island. This ended up being the highlight of our trip! Superb cruise with an amazing guide and a full... More

We went on the 2.5 hour full NYC cruise on our first full day in New York and thought it was an excellent trip and a great way to get our bearings for the rest of our time in new York. The only slight criticism would be some of the tour guide David's anti British spin on things. I am... More

We recently took a Circle Line Cruise tour as part of our New York City Pass that we bought for a recent vacation in NYC and what an amazing experience it was! The day we toured was in the mid 40s so it was a bit chilly, but we decided to ride on the top open deck anyway and had... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
