Too many people, too many loud people, too many rude people. Too expensive for a lousy tourist trap.
Bought a Groupon for this tour and it was worth the $$. Reservation process was easy and the folks were friendly. It was a cold day so we stayed indoors for the tour. Sit on the right side of the boat - the area across from where you get on. You will get the best views from this vantage point.... More
We had New York passes and took advantage of the circle cruise included. This was one of the highlights to our trip. Got lots of information from the guide as we went and some fantastic pictures of the new World Trade Center, bridges, United Nations and Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.
I took the last trip out, around past 5 pm. Sure, I got dramatic sunset shots of the Statue of Liberty but after that, when it got too dark, you won't be able to appreciate the other sights and it was pretty much useless to take photos. Take an earlier schedule, say around 3 pm. I went last week of... More
It was a 90 min cruise which departed late from the time given. People were crowded and the guide could have been little louder and entertaining. We expected the cruise to go slow while nearing liberty but it was way too fast. Chilly Nov prohibited from standing out and click more pics. Things u would see are the skyscrapers of... More
In New York at the moment. We did this as a 90 minute cruise - enough in the fall/winter. It's was freezing on Saturday & being on the water didn't help. The tour was great and very informative. Our guide made it interesting and facts were good. Great photo opportunities of the financial district and Statue of Liberty.... Well worth... More
I was annoyed we were told to get there 45 minutes before and when we got there 50 minutes early there were still a lot of the seats gone. Seems you might have to get there much earlier to get the 'good seats'. The seats are so close together, its very uncomfortable and really they should do something about that.... More
The cruise itself is fine, and we all enjoyed it. However, you are told to get there 45 minutes early and then left to stand (no seats anywhere) for a boat that turns up late. An hour in the freezing cold on the Hudson in November is no joke. When you return, there will be no cabs. It's a mile... More
It was a beautiful day to be touring around Manhattan by water. Our tour guide David gave so much insight into so many things that make New York and New Jersey incredible places to live and visit. The history lessons he so eloquently provided were only made better by the way he gracefully handled a very rude passenger who refused... More
We took the Semi Circle tour (leaving 4pm in winter) on our NY Pass. It left in daylight and went round the tip of Manhattan and stopped at the Statue of Liberty for photos from water too. We went further round under Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge before turning back. By this point it was dark and we got the... More
