Our tour guide, David, shared a lot of interesting recent and historical information about the island of Manhattan and Jersey. I definitely recommend it, solo or not.

We did the 12.30pm trip on the last Sunday of August 2014. It was a fascinating cruise with an excellent live commentary. We particularly appreciated the fact that passengers were encouraged to stay seated to afford everyone on board good views throughout the trip and also that parents were told in no uncertain terms that they were responsible for the... Excellent value for a 2½ hour cruise up the Hudson River out of New York and into the countryside. So it's an early start on a weekend - so get there early at about 8.00am. Get the subway to 42nd Street and walk west to the terminal - you can't miss it. You arrive at about midday at the quayside... More

A must stop to see all the city. we took the whole island trip which is about 2 and half hours and if you are not tight on time and a nice day then fine. however you can see all you need on the semi circle (landmark tour) which about 90 mins and is included in the new York city... More

Such a great way to see the island. We took the landmark cruise and enjoyed the history lesson, given by an excellent guide, as well as looking up at bridges and monuments in a new way. Photo ops everywhere!

We (3 adults) took the ‘Best of NYC’ Circle Line boat cruise that navigates around the island of Manhattan in 2.5 hours. The tour was worthwhile and a relaxing way to see NYC and all it has to offer from the water. The majority of the main sites are covered within the first half of the trip. For the Statue... More

We were able to see the statue up very close. The view was beautiful as we watched the sunset. All the city was lit up and it was a very relaxing.

We took the full island tour which makes a circuit of the entire island of Manhattan over the course of almost 3 hours; it gave an interesting perspective of the entire city, small islands, and the shores of New Jersey, and the Bronx. The tour guide David was a mix of historian, actor, and comedian and full of interesting facts.... More

Did the Circle Line cruise around Manhattan on my first visit to NYC in 1981 and just did it again. It is a terrific way to get an introduction to the city and its various attractions. Does a close up of the Statue of Liberty in case you don't have time for a separate trip there and then heads up... More

The boat we were on leaned so bad that if you sat on the high side all you could see was water on the low side. If you sat on the low side all you could see was sky on the high side. It was so bad we felt they should have refunded half of our ticket price. If it... More
