Today, Circle Line is the only cruise line dedicated exclusively to sightseeing, with vessels made of steel and over-sized glass windows that offer magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline, all year round. Owned and operated by New York Cruise Lines Inc., New York's oldest and largest provider of scheduled and chartered sightseeing and special event cruises, Circle Line is recognized as one of the most famous boat rides in the world.

Sightseeing Tour Options:

All Circle Line vessels offer first-class service, the best viewing opportunities and an entertaining, informative tour given by professional guides.

Best of NYC Cruise - Take in over 101 city sights by water, including the Intrepid, Yankee Stadium, the Cloisters and a magnificent close-up of the Statue of Liberty.

Landmark Cruise- Witness magnificent views of the world's premier skyline and such sights as the Empire State Building, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.

Liberty Cruise - The fastest and best way to see the Statue of Liberty! Sail down the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty and back, and view Ellis Island, the rising Freedom Tower and the World Financial Center, along the way.

Harbor Lights Cruise - For something a bit more romantic, sail the same route as the Landmark Cruise while the sun sets and the skyline comes alive.

The Beast Speedboat Ride - The Beast leaves all others in its wake as the Captain takes this custom-built 70-foot offshore racing powerboat up to 45 mph on a ride down to the Statue of Liberty.

Circle Line looks forward to introducing you to New York.

Chris was our very knowledgeable and very funny guide. I'd be surprised if you asked him about NY and he didn't know the answer. It was a lovely cruise up the Hudson River and you couldn't really ask for much more. I'd highly recommend this cruise. Great way to see the NY skyline and hear a lot about the history... More

We spend time in NYC every fall and we have taken the around Manhattan trip every year for several years. The operators have now ruined it. We took it in mid-November 2015 and it was a miserable experience. First, the PA system on the lower deck (why we were there explained below) was barely audible. The guide said he would... More

We did the Landmark tour, very enjoyable. We saw so much and the guide on board was so knowledgeable, he did great! We also enjoyed this cruise because it was around sunset so the pictures we took were awesome. Definitely recommend this.

This had to be the best way to get a good overview of New York City by going all around Manhattan on the Best of Manhattan Cruise. And what made it extra-special was the announcer.... so thorough, so warm and welcoming. It was like being invited to someone's home by someone who had lived the experience, not just memorized it... By far, this was the best, most economical attraction on my recent trip to NYC. Here are some tips for the best experience--first, if you are able, upgrade to Premier. It's $25 more, but you get the best seats on the ship (on the left side of the ship, so you'll see the Manhattan side the entire time), you get... More

We did the full tour round Manhattan island on our first day which was a good way to orientate ourselves. To get a good seat make sure you arrive about 45 mins before the tour leaves (they board you 30 mins before). There's free wifi on the boat and you can get a beer from the bar!

Took this cruise recently after 30+ years of fondly remembering it from childhood. This time with my own family including 2 young daughters still commanded that air of excitement, and unique 'special' feeling that builds lasting memories. We took the 90 minute tour which was just right for my 3 year old. The staff is friendly and informative. The location... More

We went to see the best of new york cruise and had some great views of the city but the staff at the booth could be more informing about making the ride short because of the bad weather. I know their was a sign but other then that the bewildered tourist has no idea until you get on the boat... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
