We have used the TKTS booth on occasions in the past. We used it again on our recent trip. A couple of pointers. If you really really want to go to certain show and it is the "hottest ticket in town" then buy your tickets in the usual way. If you are not too fussy then this is the best... More

We visited here around lunch time for a show we were planning to buy tickets to that day. Up until 2pm they only sell tickets for the day time shows. They break for an hour and open at 3pm to sell tickets for the evening show. We went for lunch and when we came back around half 2, the queue... More

This is New York City's best not-so-hidden secret. You get amazing shows at half the price. They will even tell you if a featured performer will not be on stage for a show you request. AND, if you go a second time within seven days, present your receipt to skip the long lines!

The discounts are great! They range from 20%-50%. With that said, often times those discounts are on the premium, most expensive tickets. So if you want to sit down front, then this may be the place for you. If you want a seat that is cheaper and further away, then you should contact the theater. Also, be prepared to stand... More

You are able to get a great deal on Broadway shows the day you want to see them. They get left over tickets from the theaters and sell them at a discount so you have to check their board to make sure what you want to see is available but they usually have the popular shows.

We went for the day and stopped at this booth for tickets. First time..... "Best seats for Pippin please". We got 10th row. Great seats. It was so fast and there was no line. Would def do this again. Good value. We paid 75$ per ticket. Online the ticket probably would have coat over $130 for these seats.

I arrived at about 2:10 pm on a Saturday in Times Square and asked a TKTS member (they were all wearing red, walking around the booth, and easy to find) which line was the correct line to stand in. One line is a shorter ‘fast pass’ for people that have purchased a previous TKTS ticket within the last 7 days... More

TKTS offer up to a 50% discount on tickets. Before you get to the window, there are TKTS employees available to answer any questions and also all shows available are up on a board. Matinee, evening and off broadway performances. There's also their website and app to help you before you get there. Don't be discouraged by the long line,... More

We were in the queue by 9:15 for a 9:30 opening of the box office in Times Square. While in line there was plenty to look at to pass the time. TKTS reps circulated to distribute info and answer questions. The line moved quickly and orderly. Total wait time to window: 45 mins. We had three top pics ready when... More

I had bought a half-price ticket at the Times Square TKTS on a Tuesday after standing in line for about 15 minutes. Three days later on Friday, I decided to buy a ticket to another show and tried the TKTS Fast Pass Program to skip the very long line. I just showed the TKTS employee my TKTS ticket stub from...
