Not much there really- save your money I'd say. A good chunk was being re-developed when I was there but they were still charging $12 a person. Food services were not good and they were too expensive.

I found this zoo very disappointing. I don't quite know what I was expecting as I suppose there is a limit as to what you can have in a zoo right in the city centre. But it's very small and not very exciting animals. The penguin enclosure was very dirty. Being so small and not having the most exciting animals... More

I grew up going to this zoo and I continue to go as an adult. I have been there with my little cousins and godchildren as well as on a date! It is a very manageable zoo, you could see the whole thing in about an hour and a half. I love that. The penguins are really fun and the... More

The zoo was quite small with just a few animal exhibits for the $12 entry fee. The animals they did have were very interesting and beautiful, but not worth the general admission fee. Beautiful setting in Central Park.

I normally love going to a zoo, but was very disappointed by this one. It's very small, took us 30 minutes to go through it and we were taking it very slowly. The sea lions were great ( the only interesting animal in the zoo we saw), but animals seemed to be happy and clean and well looked after- that... More

The animals are in very small quarters here. That is no way to live. I have signed many petitions to stop these rinky dink type zoos from keeping animals in these conditions. We saw through the fence the area they keep the sheep and a llama. The sheep were DIRTY and looked so unhappy. They had to walk on concrete.... More

This little magical zoo was just beautiful. Went there with two little girls who loved it. They walked and ran around and were able to get very very close to the animals. There are lots of photo ops, and is perfect for a short visit to the city with kids because it will not take you more than 1.5 hours... More

I love to take my grandson to zoos so while in NY we went to the Central Park Zoo. We were all disappointed. There were few exhibits, very spread out, and animals were fairly crowded. It was expensive, staff not helpful and a waste of time and money in my opinion. The Cape May Zoo in NY is by far... More

The bird habitat was amazing. We saw the sea lions being fed too which was great fun. A very quaint zoo to see in the middle of this bustling city.
