I just love seeing the different building structures! The ere are so many different styles yet so much of the old feeling still remains in the city. Seeing the skyline at night is still the best and gives you the best pics ever! A must!

Manhattan Skyline is 'complete' again with the Freedom Tower open for business. We viewed it from the Empire State Building (best at sunset), from a old schooner sailing on the Hudson near the Statue of Liberty, and from a helicopter. All are spectacular and highly recommended!

What can I say? It's the Manhattan Skyline! It's amazing. It's grand. It's beautiful. The hustle and bustle of the city streets is an experience itself, but seeing it from a distance is very tranquil.

Amazing especially from the Brooklyn Bridge. I wished I had seen it at night time as well. If walking to Brooklyn you will need to stop and look back.

Amazing to see the skyline from New Jersey (Edgewater, Fort Lee, Hoboken, Jersey City, etc.).....also great views from the George Washington Bridge. However, for longer views, stick to Jersey or take a ferry across from Weehawkin. Brooklyn offers a mirror image of the view. Great photo ops.

Stayed in Manhattan only for a weekend to surprise my gf. Had a great time! The different views throughout Manhattan and sites you can see are absolutely worth a trip.

I don't think any other US skyline can beat Manhattan. Of course the best views are from New Jersey. Stayed in Jersey City and ate at a restaurant just across the Hudson. Great views from Liberty Park and the restaurant there is very good.

No matter if you see this from the air, water taxi, skyscraper, pavement or the Statue of Liberty, you will be impressed and wowed with the incredible view.

Best seen by helicopter, or from vantage points such as across the George Washington Bridge, the RFK Bridge, or the Circle Line Ferry circling Manhattan

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
