So even for a big kid, this place is a amazing! The entrance features a big wheel you can ride in the middle of the building. There are so many toys and gifts as well as a candy store. The most disappointing side to this store is the staff. We bought done gifts to take home for my niece and... More

We spent a lot of time here. You can shop, get professional pictures taken with the dinosaur, Ferris wheel or Spider-Man and You can have ice cream for snack. There was a separate vendor where we found a nice iPad case. Difficult to get to bathroom especially when they are cleaning one if them.

Our kids had been looking forward to TRU for so long - it truly was the highlight of our NYC trip. As soon as we walked in our son said "My mind is blown"! LOL....we spent at least an hour in here at least two different times. So much to see and do. And yes, it's crazy busy but it's... More

Took the kids here on a Saturday morning in August! It really wasn't as crowded as you might think. We (the 8 of us) split up into 2s and did a circuit through all the levels. As an adult I was excited to see all the toys my self. LIKE THE BARBIE HOUSE! Orrrr SUPER MAN SAVING US FROM A... More

Kids of all ages will love walking into this giant toy store. They have everything - and one of the biggest attractions, the ferris wheel, is only $5 to ride because the money all goes to charity. I don't think you will find anything unique here that you couldn't get at home or online, so save your purchases because you... More

Time Square has interesting people around and in it. As you walk around Time Square, you will the Ferris wheel inside the ToysRus. The car are all full size replicas of characters i.e. potatoe head. You are not able to pick a particular car and the ride is $5 per person. It's a fun ride since there is so much... More

Toys 'R' Us is huge here with an indoor ferris wheel! Only in New York folks. It has about three floors all accessible by elevator or escalator and pretty much everything you might be looking for from toys to candy. Naturally though, like most Toys 'R' Us chains, it's expensive. But it's good fun. My dad took a picture with... More

When going to Times Square with children, I recommend stopping by Toys R Us. There are over 3 levels of pure entertainment for children to experience. I would not recommend teenagers visiting because there are very little things in the store meant for them. This is a definitely a must-see for young children in Times Square.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
