Good show, not great, but nice time. I enjoyed. I went also to the drop-in improv lesson though it was canceled because only 4 people assisted :-(

I really wanted to like this place. My girlfriend and I are huge live comedy fans, especially improv. This place was only a few blocks from where we were staying over the weekend and were referred to go see the "The Baldwins & Big Black Car" show by a friend who visits this spot often. The venue and theater itself... More

We saw the "house" performers. It is said to be all improve but felt so rehearsed. Maybe because they work together so often they just hit the same stride too easy? That's not a complement, it lacked a bit of spark. There was no audience interaction - no suggested topics - no dialog. BUT - it was $10 to get... More

I've been going to the PIT for years. You have a drink, pay a good price and go see some improv. Improv is very different than stand up. Improv is done on the spot with no preplanned jokes. It's not written out before hand. The result, haywire comedy fun!

I went to the Improv for the first time on Oct. 6 to see The 1 Man show by Mark Demayo..20&Out. I invited 9 of my closest friends and we all had an amazing time. We never stopped laughing and just when you thought the skit couldn't get any better Mark adds a little emotion and shares real life events... More

First time to the PIT. Enchantment Park was a production by the Grape Dutches of York. The skit was brilliant with its 3D & 4D. Too short for me but always entertaining. The venue was also top notch. The drinks and commendatory before and after were also splendid. I will keep my eye for their next production. The fee was... More

I've been here many many times and it is by far one of my favorite things to do in NYC. Very inexpensive for high quality comedy. I strongly recommend going on a Monday or Wednesday night (the shows are free!) or on the weekends. Great bar too, so it's an all-in-one kinda night. Definitely go, and definitely check out their... Dropped by this place after having had dinner near by, and purchased tickets for a amature impro /stand-up show. At 12$ each (10$ if we had purchased the tickets online) we got a good laugh in a informal, small theatre. Service, both in ticket sales and the bar, were great and the performers were brilliant. A different touch of new... More

Went to a storytelling show which was ok. Over al -the venue was clean, easy to get to, very friendly staff, good seats in the little theatre, and the price was right ($8). And a spacious bar, bar area to wait for your show. Nice night out- didn't know this place even existed!

My friend and I had a great night out at the improv theater, the show we went to see was a little amateur but overall the night was great because the tickets were cheap, the place wasn't too busy, the drinks were good, the staff were friendly. Its a great night out in NY and so many different shows so... More
