We had read a few negative reviews of this show before we went to NYC but decided to see for ourselves. We were not disappointed! We were sitting middle level and it was perfect for all the high flying scenes. It really was a great show that kept un on the edge of our seats the entire time. It's unfortunate... More

It was a nice play but I expected more. I was quite asleep during the first half. The second half was a little better.

I know there are some haters out there on Broadway about this show, but i loved it. I made the mistake of sitting front row. Great view of the stage, but half the show is spidy zipping around the entire theater so i was looking up and behind myself. i would either sit middle orchestra or middle level if i... More

This was my first ever Broadway show and let me just say that you do not need to be a Spider-Man, nor a fan of musicals, to enjoy this! It is absolutely amazing and the special effects are brilliant. Unfortunately, it has now concluded its run on Broadway, however, I read that there are apparently on-going talks to bring the... More

Not your typical! Lots of action happening over your head which is different then most theaters. Thought by buying tickets same day that there would be a better price...same expensive prices charged.

First show for me- decided Spider-Man as I know the story so if I got confused or didn't enjoy it I didn't miss much. I LOVED IT the effects and the acting was amazing, felt like u was was right there. The songs didn't bother me (not a musical fan) was really impressed with the show. The only down fall... More

Spiderman had very enjoyable special effects, although the flying vehicles had to be stopped in mid-flight at the show I saw. Spiderman the musical tells the basic Peter Parker/Spiderman story, with a nice ending, but don't expect a surprise from the story you have probably seen on TV several times by now. The weakness was the music. I like U2's... More

...but this really was incredible. On my first trip to New York I went to see the Phantom of the Opera, which bored me to tears, but Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark blew me away. It is pricey (both the ticket and the food/drink inside), but if you can afford to go, make sure you do.

We say this in 2011 I do not even think it is still running but if it is do not waste your money. It was boring.
