We booked our tickets way in advance because we where scared that they would be sold out. The theater was packed even though it was 'Super Bowl night' (that means something in America, right?!). Already being a fan of South Park, I had high expectations of 'The Book of Mormon'. I can honestly say this was the best show I... More

My sides still hurt from laughing at this hysterically funny - and yes very irreverent musical that pokes fun not only at the Mormon religion - but every religion. We bit the bullet and purchased perfectly located center orchestra seats - and could not have asked for a better location. Everyone needs to see Book of Mormon at least once... More

The music and set design were fabulous! The story itself is a big jab at organized religion, not just the Mormons, but we knew this before we arrived. From the first ding dong to the last, no pun intended, this play literally had us guffawing. Seating is tight, so try to book an aisle seat.

I have been trying to get tickets for this show since it opened and since I do not live in NYC, it was quite challenging. I was desperate during this last trip so I settled for tickets with a partial view. Big mistake. It was really funny but I could not see half the stage so ended up spending another... More

This is very funny! I'm not a person who enjoys too many shows or musicals, but this one was worth the visit!! I recommend to anyone who likes Trey Parker (Southpark maker) and who likes shows to try this one out.

Laughed the whole way through the show. It's probably not the show for very religious people. The hell scene was hilarious with Johnny Cochran and Jeffrey dahmer. Not appropriate for children. I thought the opening number was fantastic. Would see the show again. The theatre had great friendly service and we parked next door.

The first song had me in stitches and the second song made me stare mouth open in disbelief! Do not go if you are easily offended! Was very well put together, I would love to see it again!

Wow, what can I say? I was just stunned that this show got good reviews. I HATED it! I am not a prude...Avenue Q is one of my all time favorite musical. I can deal with being irreverent, off color jokes, making fun of God and Mormons (not that I liked it, but I could handle it and even got... More

Probably one of the funniest Broadway shows I have seen in a while. I would highly recommend a day trip to NYC to check the show out. We laughed hysterically during many parts of the show. There are a couple of crude references during the show, however it is nothing over the top. I would see this show again.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
