As an individual who can't really speak to the quality of song and dance which accompanies a musical, I thought The Book of Mormon was perfect. It bordered on offensive, but it was too be expected given the writers.

Oh my gosh, we laughed so much! And we've been singing snatches of the songs and quoting the odd line to each other for days afterwards. It is so politically incorrect, with some of the humor so bad it's sooo good! If you don't like South Park one tiny bit and/or you're of the Mormon faith, then clearly this isn't... More

The story was rather far-fetched but it was very funny and the music was great. Theatre lacked some of the appeal of other theatres but it was an experience.

From beginning to end you will be laughing. It was so much fun. I've never watched South Park as it does not appeal to me so can't relate it to that as others have but I was thoroughly entertained by this show. It moves quickly and made me wish it had a sequel or was a series as it was... More

I laughed throughout this highly acclaimed play, but still walked out of the Eugene O'Neil Theater disappointed and wondering what I'd gotten in return for the near $200 ticket price. For $100, I'd probably be OK. A good laugh is worth that much. In addition, a couple finely choreographed and performed dance scenes were sights to behold. However, considering that... More

Beautiful theatre and great cast! Loved the play. I am not much of a musical fan, but this was great. A little crude at times, but overall hilarious! Worth the splurge.

My fiancé and I are huge South Park fans and were literally crying with laughter in places. The other reviews are right, you should definitely expect this show to follow similar patterns to Matt Parker's other work, and you should be prepared to be offended if you are religious in any way. It is definitely for adults only, although mid-late... More

This show is continuously sold out and I can see why. It is absolutely hilarious and fun. Jam-packed with songs and stellar performances, it moves quickly and and keeps you in stitches the whole time. Note, not for the prudish or precious, it is full of explicit language and non-PC topics, if you are easily offended, maybe give it a... More

This was a great show, lively, entertaining and had many strong messages. The show is raunchy and language and gestures can be offensive, so do not attend if you are not ready for this type of entertainment. The cast was wonderful, talented and well timed to the music. The difficult topics were handled with lots of humor and sarcasm. It... More

After waiting several months to get decent seats, we traveled to NYC to see BOM. We are fans of South Park so we had an idea of the type of humor we'd see in this musical. The show was rude, funny, irreverant, and this charming theater was packed. We had many laughs and recommend the show to those not easily... More
