Watching The Book of Mormon is a surreal experience. Why surreal? Because the songs and choreography are fantastic, you are watching another top notch classic Broadway production while questioning “Did they really just say that?!” You find yourself laughing hysterically while digesting profane, vulgar yet thought provoking content. If you have a good sense of humor and are able to... More

I'm not a musical kind of guy, but this was great! Casting was perfect, the story line was unique, and it was engaging the entire show. Although I found it hilariously funny, the humor isn't for everyone. It's definitely a rated R musical, so it wouldn't be appropriate for kids either. Make sure you go to the bathroom before seeing... More

We realized last minute that we both wanted to see this musical and managed to get tickets for the Saturday matinee. And we're so glad we did! This musical was fantastic and great and amazing and hilarious. A bunch of other superlatives as well. Great performances and the content was awesome. Totally worth it!

Could not believe how good this show was. Convulsive laughter throughout. Jon Stewart says it best:  “so good it makes me angry. If aliens come thousands of years from now and this is the record of our time on Earth, I will be absolutely satisfied with that.” One minor complaint? Felt like I was sitting in the world's worst airline... More

Amazing, fabulous, inappropriate, funny, over-the-top - one of the best shows we've ever seen. We need to see it again, though, because it's easy to miss some of the lines when you are laughing so hard... Bravo!

After all the hype my wife and I along with a couple of friends finally went to see Book of Mormon this past weekend. Other members of our family had been to it raved. They were not wrong. Given fair warning I thought the first act was a little tepid even though outrageous (I guess I was expecting even more)... More

Great voices and so much energy. Laughed so hard we were hoarse. I've never enjoyed a musical performance like that before. It really felt like a new experience for me. So good i bought the CD.

This musical is hilarious and VERY irreverent! Very good music and a great story. Characters are tremendous. If you would feed ofended when talking to religion, please don't plan to see it, otherwise don't miss it !!

I had high expectations for this show. It was kind of stupid and pointless in my opinion. I wasn't offended by anything, just kind of found it to be a bit pointless. Not worth paying over 20 bucks for.. Sorry. Grew up mormon and I was expecting a little more thought to be put into the show. There were like... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
