Found myself bursting into laughter even at times that I felt was inappropriate! It is different from the other Broadways and worth watching! We decided to watch this last minute on our last day here and were so glad that we did! We both enjoyed it even though we understand how it may offend some people.

I had high expectations for Book of Mormon after hearing such great things about, but was not disappointed at all. We laughed the entire show; there wasn't a dull moment. Humor is clever and witty but also crude and not for those less than about 16 I'd say. The music was okay, but it's the story, lyrics, and dialogue that... More

A definite new era in Broadway starts with this hilarious musical. Religion is a theme very difficult to deal with, but the authors made a tremendous job. Not a play for those used to Disney productions.

If you need a good laugh definitely the place to find it. One of the funniest shows I have ever seen. I freely admit to a healthy and diverse sense of humor. As soon as it was over I wanted to see it again. Parents with young children be advised subject matter and language may be an issue.

I have to preface this by saying that I just don't think I am one for broadway shows. The humor was somewhat shocking in the beginning, and funny at times, but by half way through I was numbed and bored by it. The humor felt repetitive after a while. Christopher John O'Neill was quite entertaining though.

I never laughed so hard in my life. It was really funny, but it had a unique way of making you feel guilty for laughing. I wasn't ready for the first song, especially when they translated it for the audience. I almost fell off my chair. Excellent production, great acting and singing/dancing. Well worth the money. Not for kids!

The show was brilliant and hilarious! All the numbers in the show were awesome and witty with sarcasm.

We just finished seeing the "Book of Mormon" in Winnipeg. It's the travelling show version of the Broadway play. There isn't going to be a trip advisor entry for the Winnipeg show as it's gone tomorrow, but I had to write a review of it somewhere, so where better to do it than on the mothership's site. I had NO... More

I hesitate to write as I know this is an award winning show, and every seat in the house was filled when my husband and I attended but I absolutely hated this show. We go to theater often, love some shows, like others, only had this level of dislike once before. It is vulgar and irreverent, which if it were... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
