On our recent trip to New York, we saw four musicals. Without a doubt, this was our favorite. I had an idea of what to expect having seen the Mormon South Park episode. Yes, there is some offensive language; but it states that right on the ticket so it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. The story, costumes, music,... More

The music and comedy were delightful. Felt transported and entertained. The cast was energetic and talented and able to deliver the comic and ironic moments with skill and drama. I would see it again. The theater is beautiful and it was staged very well.

Absolutely a must-see, as long as offensive language doesn't offend you. I never knew that learning about the Mormon faith could be so fun!!

Excellent show! Highly energetic with a cast of unknowns. Very raunchy- yes - raunchy so no prudes. A lot of laughs. My complaint is very tight seats.

Held my attention completely! Wonderful cast, great sets & lighting. Superb & enthusiastic acting & a colorful, entertaining story line. Packed audience gave a resounding standing O, so I wasn't the only one who loved it!

Yes, lols galore. And I never laugh out loud (don't get me wrong, I find things funny, I just normally internalise the laughter). Not here! This show is incredibly offensive, but then again aren't so many religions offensive? Must do for New York - I'm so glad I went and I've spent the last week singing the songs. Might buy... More

I am always amazed when people complain about language or any offensive humour the show clearly states "Adult humour": so why did they go, it is like going to a strip show but walking out as the people are naked. The show was funny, informative about the Mormon "Elders" and how they are prepared to go out into the world... More

The book of Mormon while very comical is a little offensive if you are ultra-sensitive to child abuse. I think the comedic up beat theme of the play round out the edges somewhat, but references to raping a baby didn't go over well with me. However, I am from the Bible belt, and we don't take lightly to such things.... More

This show appeals to those who laugh at schoolboy toilet jokes and think that films like American Pie are hilarious. The theme was good but it was totally spoiled by the desire to shock by using every four letter word as often as possible. If you think Howard Stern is funny you should go to this show.
