Amazing talent and very fun story. It is not intended for kids, but it is not raunchy or nasty. It is very mature, but controversial humor with excellent singing and dancing. A... read more

We were excited to see this show after many reviews and went on the 3rd evening into our NYC visit. I laughed in many parts and especially loved the opening "doorbell song." The choreography, costumes, set design and function of the whole show was amazing. I did not like the language and content of some of the show antics and... More

Very good! A bit over the top but very entertaining - we laughed so much! Enjoyed the play very much. Did not disappoint.

We are not the type to be offended by off-color humor or satire directed at religion, so that wasn't the problem, but spending a few hundred dollars for pointless nonsense does tick us off. As some others have said here, this show is simply not funny, whether one finds the content offensive or not. For the life of us, we... More

This play will keep you in stitches. Truly hilarious not just what some critic wants you to think. The whole play is great. The dancing and singing, the choreography and sets all work together so well. But it's the material that is so funny. Irreverent to be sure but hilarious all the same.

LOts of chatter about how good this show is. Was underwhelmed. Some very funny moments, some extremly offensive moments. Great sining, but lyrics grew tiresome. Good acting. Too campish.

I really enjoy the theatre. My boyfriend (who is not into the arts as much as I am) and I adored The book of mormon. Amazing cast, and hilariously written. Highly recommend. Do not bring your grandmother who is easily offended, though;)

Amazing talented group of singers and dancers. Cleverly written musical. We enjoyed ourselves. Just make sure to leave your judgement and serious mood at home. :)

My husband, 11 year old son and I saw this play and we all loved it. However, I wouldn't recommend bringing children. I had searched reviews beforehand to see if it was OK to bring children and while a lot of people advised against it, there weren't a lot of specific reasons why. I figured it was because of bad... We laughed hard at Book of Mormon. The venue is great - I really don't think there is a bad seat. We sat at the end of the row G and got tickets at last minute but great view.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
