Great Show, Uber Expensive!

I have been wanting to see this show since it began. It is whitty, vulgar, hysterical, and not for the republican crowd. Keeping religion out of my review, it was a great show. The theater held 1,000 people, but it felt smaller. People were standing in the back. I dont think I would have paid to stand, and the tickets... More

It was blasphemous and I feel guilty for watching the entire show. Doesn't matter if you are a mormon, or not, if you are a Christian, do not see the show! It was hard to watch and I can and will not ever condone a show that constantly makes fun of our creator and His Son. Save your money and... More

First I believe religion is what is wrong with the world and I have been known to swear like a sailor, especially playing golf! So South Park "vulgarity" does not remotely impel me to thump my bible or raise my book of mormon! People pay incredible prices for this production. The music is fantastic and the acting and singing is... More

Oh how I loved this irreverent play from the moment it started until the moment it ended. It is so wrong in every way but also so right. It is not suitable for children and Mormons but then what is suitable for those who love the state if Utah. It was not the play that we wanted to see whilst... More

If I had to choose a broadway show that I paid $170 per ticket, I would not have picked this show. The acting was incredible and some funny parts. I did not like 3 scenes. Just to vulgar for me. If you aren't religious then maybe you will think the scenes/songs are entertaining. Just wish I had picked a different... More

We saw BOM on Easter (which is arguably the best time, if you're not religious and likely to be offended, because you're surrounded by like minds!). It was hilarious, and the cast and the audience had a great time. Memorable songs, and thought-provoking if you're willing to consider the imposition of religions in other cultures.

I'm a Christian and had my doubts about seeing BOM, even thought my son said it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen. Long story short--he was right. SO funny. I get that it's South Park humor, blah blah blah, but the portrayal of Jesus and one song in particular were just flat out offensive, though. I don't think the... More

This was just ok. For the money and hype, I expected to like it a lot more. It was overall entertaining and the story is actually pretty good, but the foul language was over the top, unnecessary in most instances, and took away from my overall experience. I knew it would be vulgar so I was not overly offended -... More

Recommended to see this show. Funniest musical ever from start to finish - laughing all the time. A bit rude as well. Religious people may find this show offensive. If in NYC this is the sow to see.

We saw this as a family of four (two teenagers) and we all agreed that this is the best show we have ever seen. We laughed nonstop throughout the whole show and it definitely made a lasting impression on us. I really can't emphasise enough how great this show is. Worth visiting New York just to see it! (and we... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
