I was so excited to see Book of Mormon! I was literally in the front row and after I heard so much about it and all of the awards it had won, I was ready for a big night. Well...not so much, for me anyway. I thought the performers were great...some more so than others. However, I found the story... More

I have seen about 16 broadway musicals and this is by far the best one i have ever seen. This musical is on another level! production wise it is close to perfect, and the music is so catchy! I know that the tickets are expensive, but it is worth it. If this is the only musical you are seeing, you... More

Most reviews you will read about this show highlight how blasphemous this show is... that certainly is true but its also touching in a way. Re-affirming in the belief that human beings will find a way to make mythology/metaphors working for them to bring them together. The fact that we are all connected and we will be stronger if we... for managing to create such a stir around such an inferior show. I myself am an actress and comedian, so I did appreciate what they were trying to do, but if I could ask for my money back, I would. The story was weak, the jokes old and cliched, the singing from one of the female characters was at times... More

So we saw this show in Orlando Florida, and I have to say I was not sure what to expect. Well 4 of us went to the play ranging from age 30 to 55 and I have to tell you we all laughed so hard so many times. It was an excellent comedy play that was well acted, well sung... More

This show is not for everyone, specially if you cringe at offensive vocabulary and do not accept when religion is made fun of. But I thought it was clever and funny (the people I haven't met in person anyone who has seen this and didn't enjoy it). Actually, I think this play, in spite of all the black humor, has... More

We went to see the Book of Mormon this past weekend after wanting to see it for a very long time. The timing could not have been better, because a friend of the family had actually been cast from the touring company as the starring role of Elder Cunningham and we got to see someone we know star on Broadway... I have been to approximately 10 Broadway Shows in my life and The Book of Mormon was my least favorite. Lots of people like this show but it's not for everyone. It had nothing to do with the performances of the actors. I didn't enjoy the storyline and thought the show was boring with dry humor.

This play is just hysterical but if you are PC or easily offended go at your own risk.. NOTHING is off limits..

What a show! I was laughing and thinking i shouldn't be laughing at the same time. The writers did a good job of poking fun at religion. Some of the jokes were offensive, but I still found myself laughing.
