Not our cup of tea. The plot did have a lot of twists and turns with a better ending but it was slow in the beginning and did not hold our attention. The actors are former soap opera stars and although belivable in character I would have preferred a musical. The sales people paid a commission to get people in... More

I have been going to see plays for many years and this isTHE worst EVER. For starters the building had an awful smell. The "stage" was on 4 flights of stairs up. There were only about 30 people there this past Saturday for the 8PM show! The actors were terrible. The female lead who has only missed 4 performances in... More

I got $29 tix for "Perfect Crime", billed as a "funny romantic thriller", it's now been running for 27 years and the leading lady Catherine Russell is in the Guinness Book of Records as she has only missed 4 shows. It is a small theatre and the matinee audience was about 50 people. It was the worst show I have... More

I wish we had checked more before attending this play. The best part of this show was when the lights came on at the end and we could leave. The theatre was a dump located on the top floor of a long walk up set of stairs. The play was entirely predictable - "surprise ending" was apparent 15 minutes into... More

I decided to take in a show while I was on one of my many trips to NY. I saw that this show, Perfect Crime, had been running for years, so I thought that it had to be good and I liked the title. My son, a New Yorker, told me not to go see it, that it would not... More

The play was recommended by some persons at the Tickts booth at Times Square. It was the worst play I've ever seen in my life. It was just waste of time and money.

They apparently run this play since decades, and the main actress has played it over 4700 times. OK. What we can see today seems quite outdated indeed: old actors playing parts which should be played by young actors, in a stuffy set which has seen better days. Also, the plot is quite complex, and we only started to properly understand... More

The best part about this play was the theatre. Very quaint. I would say the play was okay. I had a hard time following who did what and all the relationships. At the end I was confused and who really did the crime. Our show was not sold out and I see why. The actors and actresses put ther heart... More

This was recommended by the tckts people in Times Square. I know it's their job to get tickets sold but this was bad. We were 8 people and not one of us liked it. Of the few people that were at the show, some left at intermission.

How can anyone justify charging for this play. My husband and I tried really hard to follow the plot and as other writers have written, left not understanding who did it, or why. The acting is just terrible. We tried really hard to like the characters but there is nothing likeable in them as characters or in the 'acting' they... More
