We stayed in New York for 1 week last summer and one thing we had always wanted to do was find out more about the NY Mafia, who were the main players, where they lived and understand the reality behind some of the myth's. I can honestly say the walking tour we did with Eric more than lived up to... More

Great tour by Eric, who has an in-depth knowledge of Little Italy and it's history. He makes everything really come alive and you can almost picture yourself being there when some of these events happened or even put yourself into a Sopranos or Godfather set. Highlights for me were the speakeasy, mob "hit" locations, the old social club scenes on... More

We did the mafia tour on the Saturday, spent an enthralling two hours with Eric,a fantastic tour guide, really delivered well on the subject, might just be me but at times you really felt you where actually there in the period of time being discussed, could have spent all day listening to Eric,we didn't ask many questions we're a bit shy, that was... Eric did a great job showing us the sites where events occurred and where people lived.Traced the history of the Mob as we walked the streets of the East Village and Little Italy. Great for history buffs and those that enjoyed the Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire, The Godfather, Goodfellas, etc. He is passionate and very knowledgeable. Just go!

I loved this tour a lot. It's extremely fascinating and Eric is a wonderful tour guide. I highly recommend this to not only tourists but locals like me who want to learn a little more about the dark past of this wonderful city.

This tour was fabulous! First of all our guide Eric was very prompt, knowledgable, extremely accommodating & packed a lot in our two hour tour of the lower Eastside. The size of the group was perfect & it was very easy to hear everything Eric said. He really goes over & above. His passion for history is very contagious. We... More

Eric does a excellent job presenting a well researched history of mob life in the lower east side. I learned a great deal beyond just the stories of a few mobsters...there was a real dive into the culture of the Mafia. A fun way to see this area of the city and a true value.

My family surprised me with trip to NY fro New Years. While we were there we took the tour with Eric Ferrara on 12/28/13. We did not have really expectation of this tour, but Eric was amazing and very knowledgeable. It felt like we went back in time with the stories of "Little Italy". The tour was just (2) hours,... Just completed a private tour with Eric with about 18 people and all of us had an outstanding day! Eric not only had a wealth of information, but also communicated it in a way that kept the interest of our group, which included some school aged kids (15 years old). I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is... More
