I went to the wax museum with my husband and 12 year old son (his idea) and we had a great time! It's something I would have never thought to do on my own but I am glad he came up with the idea and that we went. We went on a Monday so the museum was quiet. It took... more

This was one of the attractions included with our New York Pass. I didn't really want to go, but my honey did..so we went. I have been to the Madame Tussauds in London, which seemed much larger, but we had a great time here in NYC. The best part of this is taking silly photos with the figures. We have... more

I knew my almost 12-year-old would love this so I bought the buy 1, get 1 free tickets on Ebay like someone here suggested, great move which saved us at least $60+ (there were four of us). I have to admit we loved the Sponge Bob 4D film. It was really fun. We also loved screaming through the horror/scare room... more

I visited based on the fact that my New York City pass granted me free admission. It was fun and the statues are pretty cool but the price and constant need to sell you things makes it a one time, short trip. Go if you have the time and can get in for free but there is no much to... more

Save your valuable $$. Even if you got a lot of it spend it elsewhere like a local restaurant to help the poor souls who work there!! This place is a total sham - a majority of the figures do not come close to the original. $30 for a half-hour trip thru this place (you won't need to spend more... more

I Bought a Buy One, Get One Free admission coupon on ebay so it cost my husband and I alot less to get in. It was pretty good considering we didn't have to pay full price. They have some interesting new additions like Michelle Obama and Miley Cirus. Great place for the family, fun interactive attractions as well. Overall, if... more

we went as we got in free on our New York City passes. The wax figures were very strange and really nothing like the real thing, we weren't sure who some of them were...I think some may have been old ones. Doesn't last very ling either more

Over hyped and over priced sums up this attraction of sparsely displayed wax figures of most people you could care less about. Bad pop and rap music annoying my wife and I from start to finish in that joint. The one in London is the ONLY one to visit, the rest pale in comparison. Avoid this attraction while in Time... more

I live in NYC and don't normally do touristy NYC things. However, in the tradition of Marie Tussaud circa 1700's, who did the first wax figure of Voltaire in France, I had to visit the much publicized Madame Tussauds Wax Museum conveniently located next to Times Square. Reason? You get to stand (literally) next to, eyeball, and note the dimensions,... more
