You call, we listen, and then suggest the perfect day for you in the most interesting neighborhoods: Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Times Square and many more, sampling the best foods the City has to offer. This is nothing like a bus tour; it's a personal experience where the history is part of the tour, but the behind-the-scenes stories are part of us. « less

My wife and I were visiting New York for our 10th Wedding Anniversary and wanted to book a walking tour with a difference. We ended up booking a combo tour of Times Square and Greenwich Village via MWT as they had a great offer of 85 dollars for the two tours. We were lucky enough to have the tour guide... More

My wife and I booked this company for three tours while on our two-day NYC stay. Best decision we made! Central Park with Gary; and Sarah guided us through Times Square and Greenwich Village. Both were simply the best! (And from what I've heard all of the guides that this company employs are personable, fun, and know their stuff.) Gary,... More

So here's our situation....my family (husband, daughter, son, mother, father) finished a cruise in Cape Liberty, New Jersey. The ship docked at 7am but our flight didn't leave until 11pm from JFK. Our travel agent wasn't a help and the only person I knew was Garry when we met him on previous tours in the summer (July 2011). I emailed... More

We signed up for a combination walking tour of downtown and walking/food tour of Chinatown. There were four of us in our group and we were the only ones on the tour, making it a private experience. What is nice about Manhattan Walking Tours is they cap the group size at eight, so the tour group size never gets too... More

Recently, I visited NY with 3 friends and we were able to book this walking tour the day before. Alex was our tour guide and he was very personable and knowledgeable. I have visited the city on many occasions but this was the first time I've done a tour. It was a great experience and the food we tasted was... More

My husband and I booked a tour on the 27 th of April and we were lucky enough to get the owner Gary and he was not only informative but a blast to hang out with! I got to experience NY through his eyes and also got to bring home a souvenir I would never have been able to get... More

Recently, I went to NY with a friend who had never been to the city. Strictly based on other Tripadvisor reviews, I booked 3 tours for us back-to-back for one day of our stay. Alex was our primary guide and we had a fabulous day! We met him in Times Square, then, we went to Greenwich Village and ended the... More

My wife and I enjoyed two outstanding days of walking tours around New York during our second and third days in New York earlier in April. We started with the Times Square and Greenwich Village tours with Garry and then joined Alex for the Hells Kitchen and Central Park tours the following day. All tours were information and action packed... More

Overall it was a very positive experience. There were only 3 people in my group, and we could very easily hear and follow the guide, who was very knowledgable. He told us some interesting history, and we learned history that we just walked by on previous visits. I would highly suggest it for tourists or new comers to NYC to... More
