Super service, great prices and a tourist discount. Always on my to visit list. Staff are knowledgable and helpful. With a store plan it's easy to find what you're looking for. Remember to take your passport if you're an overseas' visitor to get your discount. Almost everything except make up and perfume. If you buy that you will be offered... More

This hidden restaurant is on the 6th floor of the Lexington store. It's a railroad car fashioned after LeTrain Bleu in France. Perfect dining car right down to the luggage racks where you can stash your Bloomingdale's bags. We were there for brunch and it was delish!

Bit like Harrods in London - too big, too busy and too expensive. Much prefer Macy's where you can actually afford to buy something.

After visiting all the major departmental stores in NYC, Bloomingdales to me is the best for the following reasons: 1) it offers a 10% tourist discount (Macy's being the only other departmental store in NYC which offers this) making it attractive for tourists to at least offset the state tax. 2) wide selection of brands for cosmetics and skincare -... Bloomingdale's is world famous for a reason. It showcases beautiful goods to wear and with which to furnish the home. The general arrangement is in the form of boutiques for most well known designers. As a result, it is conducive to exploring, especially in the basement level and on the first four floors.

If you are in the neighborhood definitely worth a visit. It is a classy shop, with a high end price tag, but if you look there are still some bargains to be found.

Lovely store full of beautiful things but very expensive. Didn't see anything reasonably priced. Cosmetics staff very pushy and over-bearing.

I was so excited to shop there and made it my first destination in NYC. The women's clothing is strictly by label, so you had to trek long distances from one to the next & forget about it if you wish to mix & match things. Sadly, I had the same selection of clothes I could actually afford at my... More
