We didn't have time to make it to Sak's for shopping but we walked past it a few times and the windows are not to be missed. Very classy and pretty. Next time I'm in New York ... I'll find time to actually go into this store because it just looks marvelous!

We were amazed by the beautiful window displays and the magical atmosphere when you entered Saks. We were just planning to take a quick spin through the store, but ended up spending a couple of hours here! We found a wonderful sale on Christopher Radko ornaments that we just couldn't resist! The clerks were wonderful and the entire experience was... More

Best to enter side ways if you don't want to struggle with all the Xmas window watchers. Concierges down stairs are good, one woman looked at me like I asked her for a quote on car window and had to ask her colleague for help. Obviously not a long term employee. They have an express lift to shoe dep. be... More

I see why they form a line. The windows displays are gorgeous and very creative. The fairy tales are well worth the wait and the walk.

Once Saks had the best, most fun, Christmas windows. They were true to the season. Now they are cold & unfriendly. It's a shame as many people come to the city to see the windows. They don't encourage shoppers to walk into the store.

Wow! the window decorations were simply beautiful!!! There was also a projection show on the upper exterior side of the building above the street level windows that was wonderful and it played music and animated figures dancing in the upper windows about every 6mins. Really worth visiting.

The windows were decorated so beautifully for the Christmas holiday. I had to really make an effort to try to see all of them because there were so many people but it was a fabulous experience and worth it!

Saks Fifth Avenue window show – Saks has a nice selection of goods and the windows are very entertaining at Christmas but they get the Academy Award for their building display facing Rockefeller Center. It is a joy of dancing lights and images and sounds that can only be found in New York. Thanks Saks – it is always wonderful.

Saks in the City! What can i say, this department store is the classic. Conveniently located in heart of midtown Manhattan. It's merchandise assortment is unparalleled. Luxury goods on all it's floors. It's not as snooty as you'd think either. It's a great stop this time of year too because of the holiday windows. It's expensive, but you don't have... More
