Tiffany is another NYC icon, spread across six floors on 5th Avenue. The assortment of jewels is extensive, and it is so much fun just seeing the beautifully designed pieces. One floor is devoted to engagement rings. Another to china. There is something here for everyone.

For starters - the guard at the door- WOW. He was beautiful to look at. Women were just stopping to ogle him- and ask for pictures. However, entering into the store- everyone was overly helpful/polite. I did not feel out of sorts in the least and I couldn't afford anything in the store! I would recommend touring all of the... My friend Sarah wanted to buy something to commemorate our trip to New York, so we made a point of stopping by the flagship location on Fifth Avenue. On walking in, we were greeted by a member of staff, who asked if there was anything they could help us with. Sarah told them what she was looking for and they... More

I visited the store twice, one to look at buying a bracelet and the second to pick it up. On the second visit we were the first in the store, unintentionally, and it was just like in previous clips I had seen, all the staff standing at the counters smiling. Very lovely staff, extremely helpful and a wonderful shopping experience.

My sisters and I went in to purchase a little New York present. As we walk in the door man was very polite greeted us and I asked a member of staff for where I could find the piece I wanted. Whether or not you are spending thousands or hundreds a customer is a customer. So we went up to... More

The lady who helps customers on the ground floor came up with this phrase ' on the thrid floor you will find things more suitable for you. ' HOW DARE YOU ? what do you know about me only because I was speaking italian ! SHAME on you. I... More

I went here during my stay, which happened to also be my birthday. When you first enter it can feel a bit overwhelming and intimidating, however, think of it as an art gallery and enjoy! The Tiffany diamond is on display downstairs and a member of staff told us all about its history and connection with Audrey Hepburn and the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
