Absolutely delicious food everywhere you look. There are piles of cans of tomatoes, sauces, bags of dried goods, fresh pasta, cheese shop, meat hanging, breads, and pastries. Its beautiful to look, but taste as well. Although, if you wnat to eat dinner at the puzza and pasta restaurant, which you absojutely should, i would recommened reservong a table. Its budy... More

This place is a feast for the eyes and senses. It goes on and on with displays that are just plain beautiful. There are several eating areas. The variety of food and merchandise is just huge. Have a glass of wine or lemonade and at least a snack if you have the time.

When I'm NY I always brings friends to this Italian specialty shop I will never return to this joint The degree of arrogance and rudeness by the management and employees should not be tolerated By any customer. My visit was on July 21, 2014 they need training and establish new policies on how to provided excellent customer service. Terrible ,... More

Had a really good lunch here today, not cheap, and it was very noisy, very food court like, that said, and not going for a quite romantic lunch or dinner, this place should not be missed, very, very busy, the scallops were so good, as was the service, presentation of the food etc, and you can food shop to your hearts content for... We routinely shop here and I think the products are great and not at all overpriced considering that it's in NYC and the horrible supermarket across my flat (Morton Williams Bleecker St) is much more expensive and the food is simply pathetic. I agree the service could be better but I have seen the staff giving scops and scoops of... More

We were given a recommendation from our hotel's concierge. It exceeded our expectations. It's a bit crowded and you have to figure your way around based on what you want to eat (desserts, vegetarian, etc.) but the pasta was amazing and it was truly worth the wait to eat there.....a bit of Italian heaven on earth.

Eataly is food experience. The concept transports you to Italy for food, wine and market that is both delicious and unexpected. Wander the various restaurants under one roof so you choose your palate wisely. They have meat, fish, cheese, pasta, pizza, deserts, coffee and beer garden. It's worth the crowds and wait times when busy.

Visited in January with my daughter and was amazed at how perfect the food is. The gnocchi were to die for and the pizza divine. It's like a piece of Italy in New York . Why can't we have this in Sydney ? Best coffee in New York as an added bonus.
