We connect with like minded people from all over the world because of our passion for running as well as the city we call home. Through this reward, we are able to showcase the history and culture of a city while promoting a healthy lifestyle, instilling self confidence and making people feel like themselves. Ideal for the business traveler who is tired of the hotel treadmill, the marathon runner who is training for a race, or the recreational runner who wants to explore new and interesting routes, City Running Tours offers both guided group and personalized runs to accommodate any athletic ability, style, training regimen or specific landmarks. These runs are personal so it will be the running guide along with the registered clients. We can go further than a walking tour, as far as a bus tour and on the roads that most buses and segways are unable to.At City Running Tours our goal is to shape each tour based on our client's needs both as a runner and a tourist and because of this, they love the intimacy, breadth of knowledge, and the unique and local perspective that our running tours offer. Our clients experience a city at street level through the eyes and legs of someone who works, plays and runs in that city. Share your love of running with us as we share our city with you! « less

My daughter and I went on the Central Park run during an Easter Weekend visit to New York, and had a great time. The organiztaion was excellent - they made special arrangements to let us run the Central Park run during our visit, which we really appreciated. The run was a good distance, good pace for both of us, and... More

Did a fun solo 8 mile tour with Aaron...downtown, over the Mahattan Bridge, through a few Brooklyn neighborhoods & back over the Brooklyn Bridge. I was nervous about the bridges since I avoid hills during my normal runs but Aaron was a great guide - informative, personable, flexible & SO patient running at my slow pace. Will definitley book another... More

I had a great time with Rebecca at the Friday morning Brooklyn Bridge running tour! It was just us, so I had my own personal tour guide. I learned some really fun fact about China Town, Brooklyn and the Brooklyn Bridge. Even facts that my family in Brooklyn didn't know. I would love to do another tour with City Running... More

Coleman was an excellent guide who adapted hie pace and interest to my own. We were touring for a good 21/2 hrs so it was an excellent value. Still lots of NY to see! See... More

My husband and I did the Lower Central Park running tour on a recent trip to NYC for a work convention. It was one thing we were really looking forward to, and the tour did not disappoint. We met our guide, Coleman, at 7:15 on a very chilly morning. Two other women joined us, and we set off. Coleman was... More

I always run with these people when in NYC. The guides are knowledgeable and friendly. They will customize a route to your interest. I have run along the river, through the park, through the village and across the Brooklyn bridge with them. I always learn several new things about the city.

This was the first time we combined a run with a City visit (other than race weekends). It was fantastic; Renuka our guide was very pleasant, full of chat and gave us a memorable link to NY life while we were there. And, there is no way we could have enjoyed the run if we had to worry about where... More

Wow! An absolute highlight of our weekend anniversary trip to NYC! Alex, our guide, did a fabulous job as he took us thru lower Manhattan including the historic federal buildings and Chinatown. We ran across Manhattan bridge thru DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights then back across the Brooklyn Bridge. The miles flew by - there was so much to see and... More
