This tour was included with our New York Pass. Had some time and decided to try it out. Boy are we GLAD WE DID!! Absolutely wonderful in every way! THE DRIVE is so advanced, it even talks to you! Actors were wonderful and kept you guessing the whole way! Way, WAY more than just a bus tour. VERY enjoyable and... More

The Ride ticket was free with the NY Pass and bought at Madame Tussaud's - also free with the NY Pass. The previous reviews have described it well. The genius was using the city streets as the stage and the pedestrians as the actors. The comperes were very quick off the mark with hilarious comments and the atmosphere was brilliant.... More

This was my favorite activity in NYC! Fun, entertaining, witty, surprising. Still upset about the seat belts thing, though (not!).

This is a large bus where every one sits opposite a large glass window so you can see out over the Times Square. It's an interactive show. You have two guides on the bus with you. I only wish I could remember their names . They were so entertaining . It's a show on the move. If you like musicals,... More

My family and I were visiting NYC during the Christmas season and booked the special holiday edition of The Ride at a discounted price through Groupon. Although the bus appears normal from the outside, when you step inside you realize this will not be a normal tour. The seats face the sidewalk in stadium style seating so everyone on the... More

When we stumbled across this after visiting Madame Tussauds, we thought we would give it a go as it as included in the New York Pass. We didn't really know what to expect but me and my mum both loved it! The guides were really welcoming and very funny and they definitely made the whole experience! They bounced off each... More

We thought this would be a tour of the city since it was included with our New York Pass. It is strictly for entertainment so we didn't enjoy it as much as others did. I would not pay $74 a person for this. This is not for everyone.

We visited New York in January during very cold days. We did not want to freeze on a double decker bus tour so looked into "The Ride". This is an interactive tour with acts along the way, two very funny and knowledgable tour guides and just generally a lot of fun. You learn facts about New York, you are entertained... More

I was a little bit sceptical about this outing before I got on board. There were 2 hosts, one man and one woman who stood at either end of the coach and welcomed everyone onboard. You sit facing out on to the street and then the coach drives you on a tour of Manhattan through all the sites. The 2... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
