When I saw this was included in the New York Pass I was really excited. I don't want to give too much away but suffice to say if you love a cheesy musical and fancy doing a bus tour with a bit of a difference then this is not to be missed. The only thing I should point out is... More

corny jokes and attempts to make the bus 'dance' along with the MCs as they try and get the audience pumped up made this tour a nauseating and expensive waste of time. Unless you Are really expressive and like forced humour, don't take this excursion. If we had not got entrance included in NYC pass, I would have demanded a... More

We followed the weather patterns all week and decided to book this for an evening we knew that rain was predicted. We read some reviews and thought we'd give it a try since it was included in our New York Pass. We were definitely not disappointed! The jokes were tasteful and sometimes cheesy but the interactive wittiness of the hosts... More

a bus with seats facing the opposite way-in long lines, stadium seating so all can look out the huge picture window. Several surprise performances pop up along the way. Opera, sax player with vocalist etc. tour guides were hilarious!! ages 6 to 100 would enjoy

This was one of the highlights of my trip to NYC. It was so much fun and although it doesn't go further than the mid and up town blocks, it still provided plenty of information about the famous buildings, restaurants and locations. The two hosts were just great - bouncing off each other and interacting with their guests. The street... More

Liked: the originality of the experience itself, and the fact that you get more than an hour of premium comedy and laughter while experiencing and learning about NYC. The street "scenes" (a rap singer, ballet dancers, saxo player and singer, breakdancer, and more), are all great. And the two comedians on the bus are amazing (I´ve been there with my... More

We were recommended to go on The Ride, and purchased the tickets online $50 (discounted price) if you book a week before you can probably buy cheaper tickets. The two hosts were fun and lively, I just thought there would be more actors outside interacting with the bus. The bus didn't go far just went around the blocks. I would... More

I went on The Ride because it was on the New York Pass and my girlfriend really wanted to. I was nervous at 1st as I thought i would have to "get involved". I didn't and it was a GREAT laugh. Jackie and Stuart (I think...bald guy) were absolutely hilarious!! Especially the Duane Reade jokes haha! Only reason I am... More

One word.....AMAZING! This is by far the best new attraction in NYC. I really don't want to spoil it for anyone therefore, I'll keep it as brief as I can!! Tickets are purchased and collected from inside Madame Tussards @ Times Square. You board the bus / The Ride across the road outside of Chevy's. Ok.... So without spoiling anything... More

We got tickets to the ride with our New York Pass. We had no idea what to expect but it was a great time! The bus seats are arranged like theater seats looking out the window. There are two guides who are really funny. It's mostly entertaining with a little bit of information added in. You mostly tour around the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
