The "taxi" was very informative. Great photo opportunities of the NY city, brooklyn bridge, Statue of Liberty and buildings. Staff were friendly and very funny - great little part of our day.

We just LOVE the New York Water Taxis, consequently it is high on the TO DO list when we visit NYC. Over time we have tried all their trips, and all have been excellent, both in terms of experience and value for money. This year though, we bought tickets for the Hop On/Hop Off Water Taxi but we were disappointed... More

Definitely not worth your money if you've already taken the ferry as you'll see the same view. It also doesn't get you close to the 9/11 Memorial like it says it will since it drops you off in battery park. It was also really hot on the lower deck since the AC wasn't working.

We took the water taxi statue by night cruise. This cruise is offered daily at 7:30pm on pier 16 in The South Street Seaport. The trip is about a hour long. Our Narrator Danny was great! We saw downtown Manhattan, Ella's Island, Governors Island, Lady Liberty, the south end of Brooklyn and The Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges. I just... More

You can hop on /off all day long (well between 10-5) and it stops at a number of key points - so just get if and explore. Guide gives decent info as you oasis the various landmarks and nice to be up on deck on a lovely sunny day. Worth a go !

The water taxi actually picks up near the 9/11 memorial it stops at the intrepid museum as well as battery Park and near Wall Street. Much better method of getting around to these important landmarks. Wish I had discovered it before the last day of my trip

Took this taxi from Pier 21 to Brooklyn. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We actually witnessed one employee track down a lost umbrella for someone, an umbrella! Most others would tell you where to go, but this man radioed in to every stop and found the thing! Anyways, what an enjoyable experience, a bunch of friendly, smiling staff... More

We booked this tour through our AAA travel agent. I am sure that the quality of the tours depends a lot on the guide but we were very fortunate. Patrick Casey, a true son of New York, was fantastic. From the beginning to end, Patrick gave us information in a most professional and interesting way. I write a column for... More
