Soooo much fun I would go as far as saying it was one of the highlights of our trip, the weather was beautiful and standing on deck with the sun on your face with the water splashing up was great fun, the guys on the boat were hilarious and very entertaining throughout the tour. This tour is a must if... More

Been to New York a few times as a tourist. This is the first time iv experienced the water taxi. It was a great way to get around offering amazing city views (superb photo opportunities). I used the service in particular to go to Brooklyn and walk over the bridge which was fantastic. The guides were absolutely superb very knowledgeable... More

The New York Water Taxi is located on Pier 79 on 12th avenue near the Lincoln Tunnel. There is no sign outside or anything. It's a grey building with lots of windows. When you go inside, there's a small counter with the typical yellow and black sign. You'll want to catch the first ferry which leaves at 10am. It makes... More

The water taxi was a fabulous way to reach a destination and get a tour at the same time. If you travel the whole route, it takes about an hour. The taxi goes up to the Statue of Liberty and stops so you can take photos. It can be a little crowded at times. There is a 'tour guide' giving... More

I decided to play tourist and bought the VIP pass on July 2nd - yes holiday weekend. It was a great tour and all I hoped it would be. Tour included early entry or priority entry as a group to Empire State Building, Intrepid, water taxi south to Battery Park in the Hudson, little walk around the tip of Manhattan... More

This is definitely worth a trip. We didn't even pay for the ride as it was included in our New York pass. It leaves from various different points and you can hop on and off. We opted to get on at pier 78, next to the intrepid museum and stayed on whilst it went right round the Hudson. You get... More

We went on the Statue By Night cruise on Sunday 7/19 and it did not disappoint! The price for adults (to age 65) was $30 per ticket, which included ticket for a free glass of champagne. We chatted with some of the workers while waiting to board, and they were kind enough to give us some extra tickets. The cruise... More

HORRIBLE! tickets purchased online or through your hotel concierge are only vouchers and do not guarantee you getting on the boat. Purchased tickets through our hotel concierge -paid $65 to get to pier - arrived 45 mins ahead of time only to find out statue by night tour was sold out and we were stand by. More than 25 people... The water taxi was a great experience! Michael was our tour guide and he was great! We had the best view of the skyline and it was such a beautiful day. We got on in Manhattan and enjoyed the ride and tour. It's hop on, hop off, so it's a great way to see everything. We went right in front... More
