We caught the water taxi from Pier 79 to Brooklyn, it was great fun, the onboard commentary was great. My travelling companion is blind and he really enjoyed the descriptions of the buildings and skyline and the little stories and jokes. We disembarked and walked back over the Brooklyn Bridge. The only downside was that we caught the last boat... More

My family and I opted to take the Water Taxi as it was part of our NY Pass. We have no regrets. It was by far the most memorable part of our trip...nothing beats seeing the NY skyline from the Water Taxi. And our guide, Patrick, was stellar! He was so informative and had so many stories. The rest of... More

Learnt so much during my ride on the boat. They share alot of interesting information about the various ports, boroughs and infamous people. Great way to see the city line and view the Statue of Liberty.

I always enjoy the water taxi in NYC. Sounds hokie, but it is a good way to get to different parts of the city rather quickly, plus, on a clear day, you can't beat the views of the skyline. We've been known to just drink the cheap booze and ride it around all day. Great way to see the city... More

Our Family had a great morning out seeing the skyline of the city on this harbour cruise. We found the tour informative and enjoyed taking many snapshots. When we reached the Statue of Liberty the boat stayed still and then turned round so that everyone had a chance to get a good view and take photos. We also went a... More

Great way to see the skyline and all of the city. Tour guide was funny and when we got to the Lady he insured we all had plenty of time and opportunity to snap photos. Played "New York, New York" by Sinatra and the whole boat sang along. Great memories were made that day.

The Water taxi is a 1 hour harbor cruise that goes along the East River out by the Statue of Liberty and back. The staff was unfriendly. The cruise was uninteresting- there was narration that was dry and dull. Seeing the Statue of Liberty was awesome- but for the money just take the ferry to Staten Island and see the... More

The New York Water Taxi is a very good way to see the classic views of lower Manhattan from the water, as well as the Brooklyn bridge and Statue of Liberty. The boat takes off from south street seaport and heads up the East River under the Brooklyn Bridge and then turns around and heads back to the New York... More
