The pizza making class was awesome. Four hour class. The instructor was very patient, knowledgeable, Great experience. You get to make four pies and bring home the left overs. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. Not a BYOB they have beer, wine, soda for purchase. Not overpriced.

This was a really fun and informative class. Neil is a great instructor, and the dough recipe we learned is so easy. I highly recommend this class- you won't be disappointed- plus you'll eat some delicious pizzas you've never had before (guaranteed) and get to make your own!

I highly recommend Pizza a Casa to anyone who likes pizza, which is essentially everyone. The class was very fun but also informative and even someone like me who rarely cooks will use what I learned to make pizzas at home on occasion (and very good pizzas at that). Mark and Jenny are a great tandem and keep the class... More

My husband and I where given a gift certificate for our anniversary. This was fun and great way to spend the evening. There was a lot to learn. We brought home dough and hope to share the experience with our granddaughters. Lots of Pizza Passion!

This was one of the most fun things we did during our trip to New York. The instructor was funny and informative and kept us laughing the entire time we were there. He made for pizza and then each couple got to make four of their own pizzas. Needless to say we were stuffed by the end of the class.... More

Great class and well worth the price. They showed all the tricks to making perfect dough and easy sauce. You also get hands on experience making your own pizza. Lots of fun to do with your significant other or a friend and the time just flies by.

When I first found Pizza a Casa I was skeptical of the high price but my love for pizza made me do it. I purchased a gift certificate for a couples experience as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. (also a pizza fiend) Something to note is there is about a month lead time of making a reservation, so a... More

We are so glad that we delivered value on the price of our class, and now you and your GF have lots of pizza-making fun ahead of you! Thank you for sharing the tip about booking in advance - although it is always worth checking to see if we have last minute availability, as we do from time-to-time! More

Staying in Lower East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving immigrant past and its modern transformation into a beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side is one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in the city. The blocks of tenements that represented the promise and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience now command top dollar for new residents. Right next to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment shops of Orchard Street, you’ll find hip clubs, fashionable bistros, and luxury hotels beckoning at all hours of the evening. If you love nightlife and live music, it’s hard to beat the scene here.
