Lots of fun!

Married couple went for date night. Fun easy and worth the money. Go hungry as you'll eat the whole time.

My wife and I have visited New York a handful of times and were looking to do something beyond the typical tourist activities and sights. We stumbled across Pizza a Cassa and decided to give it a try. It was a great experience and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Instructors were very skilled, but laid back and easy to talk to.... We hosted a group event here and it was perfect from start to finish. They are super easy to work with on contracting and the event was flawless. Everyone in our group had a great time, even the folks who were hesitant to take a "cooking class." Dont plan to walk away hungry, we were all bursting with pizza at... More

We did a corporate event at Pizza A Casa. Our clients rated it very high on our surveys, everyone had fun,was fully engaged for four hours and learned a lot. It is fun to see a business who simply loves what they do.

We don't get a lot of feedback for our private events on Trip Advisor - reviewers have generally attended our public classes - so it means a lot that you took the time to write. Yours was a very fun group, and I'm glad you guys had as good a time as we did! More

This is a great time for a big group of people! Not only do you learn how to make an awesomely delicious pizza but you get to eat it too. It's not just about the pizza, this place wouldn't be what it is without the amazing staff! Our instructor was Neil, he was hilarious and was really passionate about his... More

A great way to spend a few hours in NYC. The hosts were fun and informative. We got to sample some tasty pizzas and then very quickly we were making our own awesome pizzas. Highly recommended!!!

I've made pizza at home many times, but always had trouble getting the dough stretched out. Now I know why! This class was a lot of fun and we learned a lot -- making dough, stretching dough, layering toppings, use of a pizza peel, baking, cutting, eating (okay, I already had the eating part down). If you go, wear layers... More

Very nice sentiments, and very good advice, to boot - making good pizza is easy, but it can get a little floury around here! Thanks for coming. More

I took the couples pizza making class and love it! Neil was very engaging and had a great sense of humor. As a pizza making newbie, I found the class very informative and am now making pizza at home. It's a nice way to spend an enjoyable evening with that special someone.

I came here because it got such a huge rating here on tripadvisor, and it did not disappoint. The teacher and the helpers helped move the class along efficiently and for four hours of class, it was worth the $160. You could make any pizza you wanted, and the crust was perfect. It helped me learn how to make the... More

If you have any ounce of passion for cooking and you come to NYC, you'd be doing yourself a real disservice by not coming here. The people are amazing, Mark is a phenomenal teacher, and the end results are spectacular. After taking this class you can have a piece of nyc pizza at your home, at any time. Every facet... More

Staying in Lower East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving immigrant past and its modern transformation into a beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side is one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in the city. The blocks of tenements that represented the promise and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience now command top dollar for new residents. Right next to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment shops of Orchard Street, you’ll find hip clubs, fashionable bistros, and luxury hotels beckoning at all hours of the evening. If you love nightlife and live music, it’s hard to beat the scene here.
