I'm not much of an organized tour-type person. In fact, I've always avoided this sort of thing. But I'm glad I got over myself and spent a half-day getting with the program because Matt Levy's tour of Brooklyn was simply fantastic. He took my sister and a group of her invited guests for a walking/eating tour and customized it to... More

We wanted to learn a bit more about the Jewish history on the lower east side. And Russ our guide was fantastic! He showed up 10 minutes early. after having done a pre-tour of the area (I was already impressed :-)), Then managed to get us into the 2 oldest neighborhood "schuls" that are usually closed to the public, which... What a great experience, from the initial contact, to the booking process and finally the tour, everything went seamlessly. My family made up of 12 adults and 12 children ranging in ages from 6 months to 12 years old wanted to see as much of the NYC in a 4 hour block of time. As you could imagine logistics, attention... I was part of a group of 17 adults from Canada who were in NYC in May on a travel study tour. I'm always a little nervous about the guided city tours because the quality is sometimes less than anticipated, but what an amazing treat to have Mark Levy as our guide from Central Park down to Battery Park! Mark... More

Matt took us on a wonderful tour of Brooklyn, allowing us to customise where we wanted to stop and decide how long we wanted to stay. Matt gave us a very tasty mix of history, culture and food of Brooklyn and introduced us to some of Brooklyn's finest characters. Matt went the extra mile and surveyed his team to give... More

Dahlia did an amazing job. She showed us around court street and introduced us to locals. Very memorable visit. Would recommend Levy to anyone visiting NYC. 2nd time using them and both were the only way I could imagine touring. Very fun and entertaining

Marcus gave us a fun and informative solid packed two hours of Jewish history and culture on the Lower East Side. His tour was not only very educational, but his personality friendly, engaging and extremely hilarious which was really great for the teens and parents of our group. I would highly recommend using The Levy's with Marcus as a tour... More

The tour of Brooklyn was not only ridiculously entertaining (and the pizza yum) but it was also very enlightening and informative. I absolutely adore Matt and recommend a tour lead by him anywhere in NYC. Believe that you will have the time of your life during this experience because you will! I trust him with my closest friends and clients.... More

When my family decided to go to NYC for a day while visiting my family in Pennsylvania from Florida, we started researching how to get around NYC to see the sights we wanted to see. Being the frugal one (alright - cheap), I started looking at the Hop On/Hop Off bus system. My husband, on the other hand, found Levys'... More

From my first email with Matt I knew we were in for a very unique touring experience. What we wanted to see didn't quite fit into the tours listed but Matt was more than happy to customise our tours to suit us. Our first day was my daughter and I touring the highlights of this crazy city with Matt! Fantastic... More
