We arrived on the F train with another couple and had no problem finding Stinky Brooklyn and Karen, our tour guide, waiting for us outside. Karen provides interesting information about the history of the area, dating back centuries, as well as introductory stories to each restaurant and shop visited. Some shops/restaurants date back a century and some within the last... More

We booked a craft beer tour as part of our holiday in NY. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The guide Alex was excellent - fiendly and knowledgeable. We toured about 4 establishments in East Village, all serving excellent beer and some food to compliment the beers. Also we got a potted history of the area -... More

What a great informational/delicious walking tour in Brooklyn. We had a beautifully sunny day and our tour guide Nathalie Francois was kind enough to do all her talks and highlights of the area under the shade of trees along the way. The food sampling was well spaced out with a great variety. The tour guide was conscientious of her group... More

The Urban Oyster food tour of Brooklyn was a highlight of our trip in New York. Our guide Natalie had a wealth of information and was very friendly. The food stops were great and the owners/employees gave us a nice overview of their stores. This tour is a great way to get a real feel for Brooklyn .

The tour was really good value for money. Small tour group with an easy going guide. Lots of history about the East Village and very generous with the foods and beers along the way. I would recommend this as a brilliant way to spend an afternoon in Manhattan and learn about craft beer along the way.

It was the first tour of this kind that I've experienced although I've visited NYC several times. We met our guide - Joe - at City Hall & were introduced to our companions for the tour - a very friendly Belgian couple. It was brilliant to learn the the early history of NYC & how the city grew following the... More

My wife and I enjoy good food and thought we would try to get a bit of 'insider information' on our first trip from the UK to New York. The booking process was simple and the communication excellent. We met Natalie, our guide, downtown and learnt huge amounts about the early history of the city, its inhabitants and the influences... More

My wife got me this tour as a gift and it was fantastic! We toured the Lower East Side and it was great to get some neighborhood history along with great beer. Our guide Alex was great and all of the stops each brought their own unique atmosphere and great craft beers! I would do it again and recommend this... More

We had such a fun time doing this tour of the Lower East Side. Out tour guide Natalie was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was great and the stories very entertaining and educational. I highly recommend this tour if you are in NYC - even if you grew up there as I did - there is still so much... More

What fun! On the recommendation of Tucson friends who'd done the "Neighborhood Eats Tour: Brownstone Brooklyn" tour last fall, we make reservations for the same tour on our current visit to the city. And boy, were we happy we did. This tour was great fun. Led by life-long New Yorker, and Brooklyn-expert Karen, the walk gave us the opportunity to... More
