Jackie is a gracious and welcoming host. I was impressed with her knowledge and spirit. Her love of Harlem is evident the places we visited and the people we met along the way. The group I toured with was diverse and dynamic, from native New Yorkers to a first time Canadian visitor. I will recommend this tour and will consider... More

As a first time visitor, I was surprised at how spacious and attractive Harlem was. Jackie was our guide and seems to know many of the local community and history of the beautiful buildings. She moves at a cracking pace and is very informative. This tour is great for architecture lovers too. The food was mixed from great fried chicken... More

The guide was excellent, and gave us a personal view of Harlem. The food was brilliant--chicken and waffles, oxtail, red velvet cake, Dominican specialties, and more.

Being a New Yorker, I am sorry to say, I had never experienced walking through Harlem and experiencing all it has to offer. That has been accomplished, to a great extent, by the great Taste of Harlem tour my husband and I went on this weekend. Our tour guide Jacqueline was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and went out of her way... More

Real down-home, delicious, southern food in New York? Who knew!?! One of the best food tasting tours my wife and I have ever experienced. The bonus for us was learning the history behind one of America's most fascinating neighborhoods. Would have never known this part of Harlem without Jacqueline. Thank you so much!

3.5 stars. I did this tour with my family and friends from Australia as part of a Groupon deal. I think they were trialling the Gospel part of the tour and it did not seem as organised as it could have been and there seemed to be a little tension between the church and the tour owner (looking at the... I got this as a Mother's Day gift for my mom, who has basically driven through Harlem for 20 years but has never really had a change to get to know it. Even though it was a walking tour on a rainy day, we had a wonderful time!! Our tour guide Jacqueline was very nice and incredibly knowledgeable about Harlem... More

Jacqueline is an outstanding tour guide. She does a great job with the food venues and her description of Harlem - both past and present. She did a great job herding cats with our group - especially her patience with my 75 year old Mom who likes to chat with everyone she meets :) Harlem is once again a gem... More

My wife and I did this tour last November. My wife and I do a lot of food tours. We always expect great food on tours and we were not disappointed on this one at all. There were several stops and each place was better than the previous one. We are planning another trip next month to NYC and will... More

Being from Long Island, we hear how great the revitalization of Harlem has become, but it is something you must see for yourself! This tour was both fun and informative. Jacquline was so knowledgeable about the neighborhood and her dedication to the community really shines through. We enjoyed the food stops and want to thank Jacqueline again for being able... More
