Get on your walking shoes and take the Broadway Up Close Walking Tours. This tour takes you down the theater history path through the theater district. Michael used an I-Pad, showing what the theaters looked like in their hay-day and describing the detail history of each theater visited that morning. I loved the added theater ghost stories like the Belasco... More

This tour was even better than we anticipated! Theresa was so knowledgeable and fun. She has such a genuine interest in and enthusiasm for the theater district. We really enjoyed learning the history of so many theaters as well as insider information. We highly recommend BUC to anyone going to NYC.

My wife and I love Broadway and taking this tour was the standing ovation. Theresa was terrific, energetic, and knowledgeable as in "in the know" as well as having done good research. We now have a greater respect for the history of each theater and know to look behind the facade to get a glimpse of "what is was like... More

This was our second trip to the "Big Apple". I'm so glad we were able to have this tour as part of our experience. Everyone who visits NY should take a walk with BUC. Whether you're a big fan of the theater or not, you get a great history of the broadway and Time Square area. Teresa did a great... More

Being big theatre fans and knowing a fair bit about London theatres, this was a perfect way to find out about the New York Equivalent. Our guide Bret, who was himself a Broadway performer, was very knowledgeable and told some interesting inside stories as well as guiding us around the theatre district at a leisurely pace. Learnt so much about... More

My daughters and I are big theatre fans and one of them is studying stage management at college. The tour was excellent and very interesting!!! I loved the fact that there were only 5 people in our group. Lots of opportunity for questions and personal experiences with Teressa our tour guide. She was very nice, informative and truly has a... We are a group of musical theatre students from Argentina who went to NYC to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our Academy. We did this tour on our first day and it was AMAZING!!!! Although we were very tired from the 11 hour flight, we couldn't stop listening and watching. Both guides were SO NICE to us and we learned... More

I am a big theatre fan and was looking for things to do in our visit to New York. I came across this tour in my research, and am sure glad I did. The tour was fantastic. I love how it was personal so you could ask questions. Learned history of the buildings themselves and the general theatre life back... More

Our Broadway Up Close tour with Tim was one of the highlights of my trip to New York. Tim had great funny stories to share, lots of insight on the inner working of Broadway, and photos on his iPad that really enhanced the history and stories he was telling. The tour was not one of the cookie cutter tours shuffling... More
