Joe took 4 of us on the tour with 2 other ladies. Joe was so knowledgeable and friendly. If you love Broadway, you'll love this tour. Theaters, their history, ghost stories, cool trivia. Obviously great research. Joe made it all so entertaining. Joe also answered any and all questions about being an actor in NY. My high school senior son... More

Tin Dolan, founder and creator of "BUC" gave a tour this past Monday and it was stupendous. As someone who calls NYC home, I was amazed by the history around me that I had been walking by all the time and not even knowing it. Any New Yorker or tourist interested in the history of theater in our culture NEEDS... More

As a performer, I found this tour to be very insightful and entertaining! Our guide was extremely knowledgable and fun! He used some multimedia to help visualize the past history of Broadway's oldest Theatres and folk lore to go with them. Didn't hurt that our tour guide was a performer. Made the experience a bit more personal. I have walked... More

I was blown away by this tour- our tour guide Tim Dolan knew a plethora of theatre history and conveyed it in such an intriguing and humorous manner that there wasn't a dull moment. Afterwards, I could not stop talking about all of the interesting stories and facts I had learned. Theater lovers, history buffs, NYC visitors and even natives... More

I went on this walking tour conducted by Tim Dolan. It was wonderful! Tim is an engaging, entertaining authority regarding New York and Broadway theatre history. I've performed in a number of Broadway shows myself (SWEENEY TODD, URINETOWN, SIDESHOW, et al) and performed in a number of the theatres we visited on this tour. Some shows ran for years and,... My daughter and I went on a tour last week, with Ben. He explained the history of the individual theatres that were included on the tour and also told us stories that we would otherwise not have heard. The pictures that we got to see were fascinating, especially the ones of the "roof farm". Ben was very knowledgeable and also... More

If you are "in the business" or have a love of theatre, this tour is for you. An amazing tour that gives insight to the history of Broadway. From the oldest theatre to the most haunted to the one with an apartment on the roof. The tour guide was friendly, funny, witty and told great stories and anecdotes. I can't... More

I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOUR ENOUGH!!!!! I have grown up going to the theater district and now that I have children I do the same with them. We have seen many shows but never knew the history of the theaters. The facts and detail put into this tour is amazing. Our tour guide was Joe Speidenner and he is... More
