Ripoff bait and switch shop, sold me into a $150 Digital Advance camera lens for $500. I filed a complaint to them - no response. Then disputed the sale with my credit card issuer who contacted them - they merely responded with the sale receipt ... "buyer beware - no returns after 7 days". Flew from Salt Lake City to... More

I had the same experience in a camera store in my recent trip to new york. I got charged at least 50% more for a lens and NO REFUND. The salesmen are con artists, really good speech but they only want to rip you off. Don't go in there if you don't want to lose your money.

I had a battery disfunction (not a loss of power a total failure) while I was in NYC in the summer of 2013. Unfortunately this was the first place I spotted. I expected to pay in the 20s or 30s for a new battery, $40 would have been a lot.... when I went in there one of the clerks in... More

I purchased a charging cord for an iPhone in a hurry one night, signed and rushed out without even looking. The next day I looked at my bank statement and they'd charged me $76.20 for something that wasn't even $10!!! Fortunately, my bank called it fraud and reversed the charge and if they go after these creeps, I'll be glad... More

Was in NYC in Jan and needed to get another suitcase. Got sold a no name brand for $200, which I then realised was way way overpriced (as it turns out later I found a samsonite for $120 at Century21). Tried to return it and got pointed to the small "no refunds" sign obscurely placed at roof level. Managed to... More

Thieves - do not enter their store!!! I had the misfortune of walking into this place with my family recently and was RIPPED OFF! My intention was to purchase a $10 USB cable for my camera and ended up leaving with a lens package that I didn't even want. The salesman grabbed my camera to test fit the cable and... More

I wish I would have searched this business before my husband entered. They pull you in. Cut you a price on a camera then add a memory card and case for the actual cost of the camera. My husband did not look at the credit card slip. When I saw a charge for twice the price quoted I was told... More

We entered this store and were immediately approached by one of their sales reps (sounded like a Russian accent). We were carrying a Canon 40D with a 17-85 zoom lens. He immediately told us that he had a camera like ours and he had an item that would significantly improve the quality of our photographs. He went outside and took... More

I went here during their "closeout sale" as they are "closing for good," which I am now sure that their 'sale' is just a way to get people in their doors so they can scam them. They are VERY pushy and put a lot of pressure on me to purchase a lens. Same as the others, they were swiping my... More

My story is the same as the other ones here. They are smooth talkers and have a well oiled scam machine. They even price their items above retail to make you think you got a great deal. They were "going out of business" when I was there in June, but that's just a new spin to get you hocked. Don't... More
