A truly wonderful experience. To listen to the music of a wonderful composer presented by six women's chorale groups who only joined together three days prior was truly superb. Presented at Alice Tully Hall with a venue that was small, the acoustics marvelous, and no bad seat in the house, I truly look forward to attending other performances by the... More

The entire DCINY experience is one of perfection, dedication to detail, and professionalism of the highest order. My husband and I have traveled twice to NYC, and I have once gone to Chicago, so that I could sing in their Sing with Eric (Whitacre) series. If you are a singer or if you would like to participate as a VIP... More

We love the Met and Avery Fisher Hall, and the Distinguished Concert series gives a fun reason to go. Concert tickets aren't too expensive, and offer a wide variety of music styles, often in the same show. I highly recommend checking these out!

I had the opportunity to attend a concert by Karl Jenkins in March at Carnegie Hall through DCINY. The seats provided were exceptional and Carnegie Hall is a magnificent venue. The concert was great and I highly recommend DCINY as a source of cultural enrichment in NYC.

Imagine the stage of Carnegie Hall filled to the brim with over 300 singers on stage singing Carmina Burana. It was the most amazing concert I’ve ever heard. Even the other music selections chosen for the evening were amazingly beautiful. I am a frequent concert go-er of the NY Philharmonic among others in NYC and the DCINY is a professional,... More

I was in NYC with nine others from my choral group as part of a 700-voice choir performing at Carnegie Hall. From the initial contact with DCINY through the final performance, everything and I do mean EVERYTHING, went so smoothly. Their people were incredibly helpful to me throughout the entire process. Because of all the details on their end being... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
