Renée was our guide for Little Italy, Chinatown and Soho tour. Very knowledgeable. Even though it poured the whole time we would do it again!! What a great way to learn about the city!

Free Tours by Foot is a great way to see the City in a unique way. It is a "pay as you see fit" type tour, and it was great. We did the Holiday lights tour, which started in Lincoln Center and went all the way through Bryant Park, by the Plaza Hotel, and then onto Rockefeller Center. I really... More

I went on a few of these tours when I first moved to NYC, just to get to know the neighborhoods, and I have since taken visiting friends and family on a few. The guides are great, and the history, sites, and food are well curated. Not only is it fun, but you also learn a ton about NYC. I'll... More

Jim was our tour guide last night for the Holiday lights tour. He's a native new yorker through and through and took us on a great tour of probably a dozen places in the city. We walked by numerous shop windows on Broadway then took a train to continue our tour walking down 5th Avenue. There was a ton to... More

Today we went on a Free Tours by Foot to Brooklyn. Well worth the 3 hours it takes. Walking the bridge was a great experience and the view of Manhattan is fantastic. We were taken around all the Brownstone buildings and told of the history of Brooklyn.

I just had a fantastic time! We went on the tour with Lady Altovisa (I think! I'm sorry for not remembering correctly her name, but it's a very different name), and it was very exciting! She told us many historical facts and stories about Harlem neighborhood, singing a few songs in a way that made us really feel what Harlem... More

This tour was off the hook! As our Guide Dante would say. We booked the Food-Tour through Little Italy, SoHo & China-Town. Dante was very polite, helpful and provided a lot of knowledge about the spots we visited. He never pushend us to buy something or whatever. It was fun and instructive all the time and whats the most important:... More

In a recent trip to NYC, we experienced a wonderful way to get to know NY and it's neighborhoods – The Free Tour by Foot. I just wish we had more time or a better weather so we could have taken more tours. The tour we took, Lower East Side/ NoLita/ East Village Tour, with Dante Salerno, was a well... More
