We took the Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo tour on July 5th. Our tour was 3+ hours and gave us a new appreciation for this part of the city. We had beautiful views of Manhattan when crossing the bridge and then learned how Brooklyn Heights was an integral part in the history of New York. Onel was our guide... More

in fact I took 4 tours with you and each and everyone was interesting, unique and with excellent tour guides. Jim, Bill (twice)and Renee have been great in showing us different parts of the city with so many details. We enjoyed all four. They were exactly what I had in mind: exploring the city being as close as possible to... More

Wish we had organised ourselves so we could have taken more than one tour. The tour we did take was with Brooklyn Jim and it was great fun. Also props to the company as we booked a cycling tour (we paid for bike hire online) and then realised we were leaving NYC and couldn't make it. We got in touch... More

This was a fantastic tour led by Dante Salerno. He's an excellent tour guide; highly knowledgeable and engaging. We loved learning about the Bridge, New York's first suburb,BH and trendy DUMBO. Don't be a Dumbo - sign up for this tour w Dante!! We look forward to our next trip to NYC and another tour.

Did the lower Central Park tour and the Greenwich Village food tour. Great way to see significant signs and an enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend this trip. The guides were awesome.

I took the 911 Memorial and Brooklyn Bridge tour in the evening. I was in NYC on business and so was looking for things I could do in the evenings. My tour leader was Brooklyn Jim. And he was fantastic! I learned SO much more than I could have known or figured out just walking in the area on my... More

I've been on a few street art and graffiti tours and izzy and Mar's is one of the best. Their passion really shines through! And the artwork is amazing. Some really awesome murals! Yesterday was alternately raining or blazing with sunshine and as the below reviewer said it was quite a large group. It's great to see so many people... More

Izzy and Mar were our guides and they did a wonderful job informing us about the artists and their work. Our group was a little too big for comfort and it made it difficult hearing or photographing important highlights. I felt some parts were really rushed and didn't get a chance to ask about more info. It was also really... More

As I was exploring NYC alone for a couple of days, I decided to try out FREE TOURS BY FOOT. On Monday morning (6/29), I joined ONEL for the Lower Manhattan/ChinaTown/Little Italy (what's left of it) and SoHo tour. It is a long tour (3+ hours), so good walking shoes is a must. Bring a camera/phone for taking pics and... More

Family with two teenagers did the Brooklyn and DUMBO foot tour with guide Dante Salerno. We wanted to explore the other part of NY besides Manhattan. Great tour and a perfect, patient and knowing guide. Five stars all the way. Dan, Copenhagen, Denmark.

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
