We offer our guests a combination walking/riding tour, so we cover a lot of ground, but experience the city not just through the windows of a bus, but on our feet, exploring like an urbanite. Our tours are beautifully designed; you will see unexpected sights with your native New York guides. Your guide accompanies you for the entirety of the tour. There is a mini-bus designated for your use exclusively; your seat is yours. Our 3 tours: The Get Acquainted West Side Tour familiarizes you Central Park, 5th Avenue, Grand Central Terminal, The Village, and ultimately winds up in Battery Park for a view of the 9/11 Memorial. The Brooklyn Grand Tour is grand in its diversity, from Park Slope, to Greenwood and Red Hook, to Prospect Park and Williamsburg. Finally, the Get Acquainted East Side Tour starts downtown at the South Street Seaport and wends its way through Chinatown, Lower East Side, East Village, Union Square and ultimately to the magnificent New York Public Library. We would enjoy taking you on one of our jaunts around New York City. We also offer custom designed private tours. Please feel free to call. « less

We went on the West Side tour with Fred on 5/17 and it was a wonderful day. The combination of seeing the sights by bus and exploring on foot with Fred was so much better than the hop on, hop off scripted tours you see all over the place because you always had your personal guide with you to highlight... It's always a pleasure to tour with people who bring good energy to the tour, it energizes us! Seeing smiling faces and answering informed questions is one of the pleasures of being a guide. We have designed the tour to use our precious time together wisely. I'm glad to see our work paying off. More

Fred was a great tour guide and answered any and all questions we had during the tour. He grew up in NYC so has many tips and insider information on basically everything. Transportation during the tour was on a very comfortable private bus.

Ahhh thank you, but modesty and humility preclude me from saying we know everything. There is over 400 years of history and the dynamic of a fantastically complicated metropolis to share with our guests. I'm glad we could transmit a small amount during our tour. We do give a shout out to our fantastic driver Derrick and All-Town Central Transportation. More

Had a great time w/ Fred as our tour guide. Would recommend!!! He showed us the REAL NY. I'd pick this tour over the tours offered in time square any day. He made sure to mention the history of every location we passed, and made our trip memorable. Thanks again Fred.

Having traveled the world, and having moved 23 times, my wife and I have done dozens of tours. We have never experienced a more knowledgeable and professional guide than Fred. He is great with pre-tour communication. He is prompt and courteous. He has a great sense about the historical details that make a tour interesting. If there was a way... More

It touches our hearts to read a review like this. We put all our effort into each tour, we understand that there are people with us who have never seen NYC and might never see it again. We want your day to be extraordinary. It's good to see that we've succeeded. More

We went on the Manhattan tour with Fred on 5/4. We were the only NYers and I think we enjoyed the tour more than anyone. Fred had so much info and funny stories, it was a pleasure going on tour with him. I recommend this tour to anyone. I think every NYer would enjoy this experience. Thanks Fred

It's always great to hear that locals enjoy the tour and find it informative. The thing one learns as a tour guide is, humility. The city is so rich in culture and history that every tour is a learning experience. Throw in fun and beauty and we're on a roll. More

There is no greater compliment than being called a font of information and fun too. The tour is constant source of surprise and beauty to us as well. When the weather is as spectacular as it was that day, it's truly a Grand Tour. Thanks for joining us. More

As a born and bred Long Islander, I confess to knowing very little about the five boroughs of NYC. Now I know ALOT about Brooklyn, thanks to Fred. The beautiful weather of course added to the wonderful time we had - especially when we were able to eat our lunch overlooking the Statue of Liberty from our stop in Red... More

Most NYer's are unfamiliar with the ground that we cover. It's always a pleasure to open people's eyes to the tantalizing history and beauty that exists in Brooklyn, all within a couple of miles of downtown Manhattan. The tour does come alive in beautiful weather, since we do spend the entire journey outside. We'll keep trying to arrange sunny weather... More

We're always so glad to hear that people who have been to the city many times still find the tour informative. What's amazing to us is that we're constantly finding new things to talk about our selves. No tour is ever the same. The city provides unending possibilities for exploration. Thanks for coming along on our journey. More

4 girlfriends travelled into NYC for the weekend to celebrate our retirement. I had found NY See Tours on a AAA site. We'd all been to Manhattan many times, but knew little about Brooklyn so we bought tickets. We all agree it was a fabulous day. What a delight to read a review that states .... by the end of the day we felt we were friends. Not only did we have a perfect day to tour, but we explored Brooklyn in a way that no other tour company does. It was a delight for Jimmy and myself to tour with such a receptive, inquisitive, fun... My wife and I booked a tour with this company months in advance, only to have the owner Fred email me days before saying the tour wasn't running on the day we booked. Fred did offer me a personal tour instead which my wife and I enjoyed very much. Fred catered to our needs and showed us what we were... More

Sometimes the best things on a trip are the unexpected ones. Even though we didn't run the full GA tour that day, it's always wonderful when our guests are game enough to trust us and experience the city in a different way. It was a beautiful day, one of the first warm days of the season. We walked thru Central... More
