We loooovvvveee these food tours! Excellent food and knowledge of The Village and helps you become very familiar with it. Makes you feel like a real New Yorker knowing about these places! I've been on two of the tours so far (Heart of the Village and Original Greenwich Village tours) and I will continue to go on more of them.... More

A colleague and I flew into NYC a day early and booked the Chelsea/Meat District Food Tour. It was outstanding and an excellent way to start our business trip. Our tour guide, Kurt, was excellent and was warmly greeted at every stop by staff. The samples of the food were generous, varied and it was nicely paced. We got to... More

The time flew by and the tastes were enjoyable. Appreciated the flexibility for those of us who don't eat meat - choices for Both. The guide, Amanda, was knowledgeable and considerate. It was defintiely 8 "tastes" And at a few stops it would have been nice to have a choice and to get a beverage on a hot day.

We took the Ultimate New York food and culture tour. It was a very good experience and our guide Candy was very good too. I recommend to go this tour the first days of your visit because you get so many nice tips of good food and restaurants that you want to try later.

Spent an afternoon with Candy on the "Original East Village Food and Culture Tour" this past Saturday. Candy is a pleasure to spend time with and a wealth of knowledge about history, culture and the goings-on of the East Village. She makes you feel like a friend in town visiting for the first time. The pace is brisk as the... More

This was our first visit to NYC from Australia, having found the details of New York Food Tours on Tripadvisor I decided it had to be on our "to-do' list. What a great afternoon with Candy, she is so knowledgeable and passionate about her job and shared so much of her knowledge with us. We visited a number of different... More

We did a tour last week. What a fantastic experience. Amanda was our guide and she was fabulous. We toured through the east side of New York and she had a nice variety of special treats lined up for us. She was very personable as well as knowledgeable about the area and history of the city. We would definitely to... More

Tour guide was informative and liked her job. Tastings were great, length of tour was perfect. Already planning our next food tour date. Casual comfortable clothing a must.

We've been to Manhattan Chinatown before, but on the Tastes of Chinatown Tour with Candy we got a whole new impression of it. Candy is very relaxed and fun to be around, very knowledgeable about the area, it's history, and the foods- which were wonderful! We revisited the dim sum restaurant a few days later because we couldn't get them... More

As a native New Yorker myself, I can honestly say this was the coolest thing I've ever done in the city! Candi was a great tour guide. She became a friend along the way! We appreciated how she tailored the tour to our tastes. The food was delicious - every single item we tried!
