Largest Ripley's in North America. Tons of displays at every turn. From shrunken heads to ancient torture devices, they have it all.

Visited Ripley's whilst on holiday in New York with my family over the Christmas holidays. Went one night after dinner as we had some free time before going to the movies. It took quicker to get round than I had expected, but it was an excellent way to spend 60 minutes or so. There was lots to look at and... More

The attraction was great. The children were engrossed by all the oddities and they were interested in reading the descriptions. This is the first Ripley's we have been to with interactive activities. The Laser Race was very unique and thrilling to try. Each room had something that appealed to each member of our party. You can take pictures of everything!... More

Never been to a Ripley's location before so figured I'd try it out. It was a pleasant experience. Most of what we saw was statues, paintings, pictures, various art collections, and historical items all with interesting background stories. There was a cool "dance-effect" room where you could dance around while a feedback camera records you fooling around to dance music.... More

The attraction is somewhat dated, but that's part of the appeal. The staff was pleasant. One of the attractions has you put your head inside a glass case filled with roaches. That didn't gross me out until I noticed the roach wandering around on TOP of the exhibit! Didn't appear very well sealed and I definitely got the heebie-jeebies afterward!... More

Stirring up cries of “aah!” and “ewe!”, the wonder is spread across two floors in 20 galleries in The Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Times Square—the largest Ripley's attraction in North America. The museum holds more than 500 bewildering and interactive exhibits of which the must-sees include: the equally dizzying (in very different ways!) - The Spinning Vortex and the... More

An entertaining, if somewhat dated experience. Worth a wander around for a few laughs with friends (the more the better) although more suited to kids. Wouldn't have been out of place in the 1950's - but that is half the charm.
