I was there recently with a group of parents. I had a great time, there are really fun exhibits to excite everyone any age. It will be a great sciencetifical experience for my school age kids. So much to see and enjoy. I'll be taking my kids there pretty soon, I had a wonderful time though it was my first... More

We were a group of six with kids ages 7 & 9. Bought our tickets online so saved 20% off the walk-in price. It is still expensive but we all felt it was worth it. We probably spent about 2 1/2 hours here on a rainy day. The exhibits were fun and interesting and right up our curious kids alley!

A good place if you have kids. We were using up our explorer pass before we left New York. It passed an hour or two.

Had low expectations - but the kids actually loved it. It is expensive - but at least they let my 5 year old in for half price. There are quite a few fun exhibits for the kids and as one of my kids said - at least this is more fun that just looking at a wax replica of a... More

The price is completely INSANE for what its worth! Don't waste your time! I remember having a great time in Niagara Falls Ripley's museum so I was incredibly disappointed. It was also a creepy place!!! Real dead brains, horrible stories about how people were killed in the past centuries, how people survived with atrocious accidents... DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS!

My son and I had a great time. He is 11 yr old and he found everything so interesting. We took lots of pictures and bought the ones they sold. We live in NY and never really do the tourist things. We bought our tickets through goldstar and saved a lot of money. We also took a bus tour after... More

I have been to ripley's in thailand and it was quite good experience. For the same reason thought to visit again in New York. But it has been really disappointing. Kids wont enjoy, nothing much informative. And the attraction does not keep the visitor engaged. Not worth the money.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
