We were meeting some friends in Times Square and the kids begged to go to Ripleys. First - almost no one was there. The cashier said attendance really drops off at night. Second- she directed us outside to get coupons - which saved us $10 each. It's NY, so everything is pricey- don't think every person soliciting you on the... More

So overpriced. There wasn't a lot of super interesting things, and we were done rather quickly walking through it. Cheaper than Madam Tussaud's though, so I guess that's a plus! It was just ok. If you have something else to do, I'd suggest doing it.

Visited to compare with other Ripley's we have been to. Just about the same exhibits we have seen in San Antonio and St Augustine with just enough of a difference to make it interesting. Plenty of fascinating and strange exhibits from all over the world. Quite a character, Mr. Ripley was.

Family vacation with pre-teen boys (12,13). The 13yr old loves Ripley's and is always buying the books. Interesting exhibits / activities that kept the boys interest. Pricey, but nothing in NY is cheap. Would recommend this attraction to any family with kids!

The museum was neat, but definitely not worth the money in our opinion. It didn't have as many exciting exhibits as we anticipated.

We visited here recently with family including my young grandson. There were 6 of us - 3 adults 3 concessions. I asked my husband what it had cost and was told " $179.31 - believe it or not! " Yes it was expensive however we did enjoy it, there was lots to see and you can spend quite a lot... More

We have been to several Ripley's Believe It or Not museums over the years. But, this one was probably our favorite. Besides the 'regular' amazing facts, there were several great opportunities for photos! And, there's a bit of surprise near the end. Ripley's stays open late, so we visited our first night when we didn't get tickets to a Broadway... More

You'll need some time to go through this place so plan ahead. Get your tickets online ahead of time for some fantastic discounts for pre-orders and military/veterans. Great photo opps all throughout - from the front door until the very end. Also, they have photographers who take your photo at specific places within so have some extra money for them.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
