Dedicated to helping locals and visitors alike enjoy the unique wonders of New York City, Classic Harbor Line hopes for the privilege of escorting you on a relaxing, inspiring and breathtaking cruise through the waters we proudly call home. Our three classic yachts – the Schooner Adirondack and the Schooner America 2.0 (our sailboats), and the Luxury Yacht Manhattan (our motorized yacht) are reminiscent of the classic boats that cruised the NYC waters a hundred years ago.

Something about our Manhattan holiday weekends, with so many New Yorkers out of town, makes me yearn to get out on the water, out on the Hudson River. Currently, my favorite way to do this is to sail around our little island in a pleasant yacht well-named the Manhattan, and to learn a little more each time about the architecture... More

Gorgeous day in NYC on Saturday so we took a ride on the America 2.0 from Chelsea Piers down to the SoL and back. Beautiful day, beautiful ship, friendly crew, comfortable ride, just a really nice way to spend a sunny afternoon in the city.

Great experience. We opted for the Sunset Sail on the America 2.0 and were not disappointed. A sudden rain storm before our sail meant that the 6:30 trip was cancelled, but the staff were very helpful to everyone on that and offered them the chance to join our 7:00pm sail if they wanted. Even with the additional people, the trip... More

Wowed by the view from the water! This is an incredible way to appreciate New York City. We were on a sailboat with about 50 passengers and a crew of 3. The captain was quite skilled, which was a good thing because the harbor was very busy the day before July 4. The cruise is around 2 hours long with... More

We went on two of Classic Harbor Line's boat trips within a two-day window. First we went on the "Southern Manhattan" tour, 90 minutes. Next day we went on the "Manhattan Architectural Tour", 2:45 hours. Both tours used the same intimate motor boat, the "Manhattan". It's a small and charming boat, and it looks old, but it was actually built... More

We took the two-hour sunset sail on Schooners Adirondack. It was a little cloudy, but we still had a great time. The crew (Caleb and Joel) were phenomenal--very friendly and engaging, and also knowledgable about the boat. Caleb took time to talk with us while still fulfilling his sail duties. The cruise was the perfect amount of time; we were... More

I recently took the Day Sail on Schooners Adirondack. The crew was professional and knowledgable. The sail starts at chelsea piers, travels down the river to the statue of liberty and back. It was a very peaceful day! They offer each guest soda/water/beer complimentary and if you would like to purchase wine/champagne you can.

The Adirondack is a classic gaff-rigged schooner that sails like a boat half its size. Fast and stable great fun. We took the late trip and sailed past the Statue of Liberty after dark. Capt. Cap and the entire crew was

We really enjoyed the Chef Morimoto Sushi and Sake cruise on Monday 22 June! Getting out on the water on a lovely summer evening is a great way to enjoy NYC. Sailing past Lady Liberty at sunset was beautiful! The sushi and sake cruise is a good one for Japanese cuisine enthusiasts. The crew served sushi rolls and nigiri, as... More
