Description: A very unique experience that is different from most standard food tours...
A very unique experience that is different from most standard food tours. We are a true eating tour, not a sampling tour. You choose what you eat and how much. You'll see non-tourist neighborhoods in a relaxed manner while mingling with others from around the world in a larger group format. To experience a culture one must experience their cuisine and since New York is the world's melting pot its many cuisines is its shared culture. Food On Foot Tours takes visitors beyond the tourist attractions to the largest buffet in the world, New York. You'll see the neighborhoods where New Yorkers live and eat. You'll share our passion for all things New York and travel the way New Yorkers do, by subway and foot.TripAdvisor Award of Excellence Winner in 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014.

This was a fun tour, full of good food and very capably run by Corey. I liked the detailed instructions we received before the tour, and how he was able to keep our group together on the subway and on the crowded streets! We liked the mix of sweet and savoury stops and Corey's tips on how much to order... More

Corey was a brave guy taking a large group out on the town on a subway but his organisation was excellent and he held the group together brilliantly. Giving him 'a little New York pace!" was no problem for us but don't go if you're not a good walker! I loved the first two stops, tacos and a pita 'middleterranean'... More

After spending a week trying to get away from tourists I'm NYC we found the East Village food tour exactly what we were looking for in a NYC food experience. Corey knows his city and food. It was a good blend of not too much walking, a bit of sightseeing and some places I would have otherwise have no idea... More

We loved the tour! Corrie is just amazing. Actually Corrie and Foot on Food IS New York! Loud, a bit crazy and in the end you can't get enough of it. Go there HUNGRY and try everything. Some tastes will be familiar, some not, but that's what it is all about. P.S. Join the tour at the beginning of your... More

This tour was ok but I don't think the selection of food was fantastic. firstly we met at 42nd Street station then took the subway to 14th street. This seem to waste a fair bit of time I don't know why we could not have started at 14th Street. it would have been really great to start with the madman... More

The great thing about TripAdvisor is that everyone can state their opinion. Unfortunately people who write are sometimes wrong with their facts or leave out points that would tell the whole story but most often it is not intentional. In our case it is a little problematic because we do something that is truly unique and different compared to most... More

We visited New York City for our friends 50th birthday. We went on the food and foot tour with Corey and had an awesome time. He gave great instructions and made sure we all stayed safe. He took us to some great local restaurants where we were able to try local foods at a great price. Would definitely take another... More

Corey was fantastic, at the start you wonder why he is so exact and then you can see why ☺Do not have anything to eat beforehand and try everything he recommends, he knows his food, places, etc. Fountain of knowledge on not just the food but the area, history, so cool. Will not hesitate to do another tp2ur with him,... More

Our tour took us through Union Square. Won't ruin the surprise, but the food stops on this tour were excellent! Like their website mentions, take the tour early in your trip, as the host has good tips on eating in NYC, and there is a lot of walking, so fresh feet are optimal.

Spent a delightful 3 hours in the company of Corey who took us to a range of afordable and very nice locations in a part of town that we would probably not have had time to visit. He also introduced us to the Subway which we continued to use throughout the week we were in town and gave us some... More
